Andrew Cooper was a colonist/survivor that played the whole round playing very safe doing minimal contact and scavenging and defended himself in the vault of LV-624.
Until near the end of the round, he was challenged by a Pred and it kinda just escelated him into becoming the Doom Guy we needed.

Happened to me a couple of days ago.
I was a SO at roundstart and I realise I'm the only member of command staff awake. Whilst shitting bricks I quickly write up a battle plan and give a meh briefing. When I return to CIC things immediately go to hell. We lose the entirety of delta squad and everyone is dying. Finally a XO and a CO wake up alongside some other SOs. I get assigned to alpha overwatch and the SL plants an OB while fighting. He screams at me the coords: -5x 0y and to fire it now. I do that and what happens? It hits about five marines and NO XENOS. CO is angry at me, I'm brigged for 25 mins for manslaughter. It was without a doubt my most fucky experience as command staff.

This happened last night, but I was CL and tried to start a colony of "Giga-Geckos" as a scheme to sell xenos as pets. Through blind luck, a drone was trying to move eggs to the frontline at the FOB and got attacked, so I managed to snatch an egg. Since there were still about 25ish xenos left, we had plenty of time to hatch the egg and get our own drone. Then with the power of admin magic, our specimen, Giga, was corrupted from the colonial hive and was able to evolve into a queen. By the time we got boarded, we had a small hive of our own and the hostile queen faced off against Giga, a fight the latter would unfortunately not survive. In the ensuing chaos, we were unable to get one of Giga's offspring to the ERT shuttle, but her legacy lived on as I managed to evacuate with pictures of our research.

Last night from the day this was posted, an extended event
We had over 250 players so it was already a special match to begin with I mean there weren't even enough marine spots for them there were that much probably
So the match was UPP vs. USCM, a glorious rivalry and Mikey Anders was however not feeling very glorious, he doesn't approve of the command and MPs executing fellow people, even if they were UPP and such
So inevitably the UPP came up, Anders hid in the brig with the rest of Charlie squad, however he hid further back, once the ships had come up and the UPP took the bridge Anders surrendered and defected
And then I became the traitor UPP recruit, and won with the UPP trying to get Elena defibbed and making an announcement for others to surrender while a marine was getting butchered behind me
My overall best OMG moment basically

The CL, Researchers and Command were top notch with this.
I also took my own initiative (I'm the MP) and made sure the other MPs didn't freak out over this.

Also, the story doesn't end with only Weyland-Yutani knowing of the CL's experience.
I personally ensured the evacuation of the XO and a SO who were involved/knew of the research.
Furthermore, I myself even evacced as the last one off the ship.

Later on the Runner got out of containment and went around being kind of friendly to marines. I escaped on the Normandy but for some reason a admin nuked us. Round ended, I told myself my char survived and that the Nuke didn´t count.
