Correct. Liberal use of grenades and OB's combined with landing at lz2 (not where they expected us to come from) resulted in this. The attack was quite organized and well done.

We had some good SLs and, as a SL, this was quite possibly the PERFECT situation for me to be in. It seemed bad with the MGs but …. if you offset the OB...the enemy never sees it coming.
Hell. I even promised mid round to Commander Arthur Montgomery (read: Heinz) that I could wipe out the hostile CLF in less than an hour with more OB support and other squads. And we did. Won basically before :56.


Marine arsenal really shines on HvH. The tactics were also sound. No bottleneck and mass usage of OBs and nades to soften position followed by pushing and overwhelming firepower. We literally beat our Tank to the fight and eliminated by the time it dropped.

I even used a smoke nade on a CLF MG emplacement.

That round (aside from the xenos which were for memes) felt like how a standard USCM operation against CLF would go.

I fell down the hangar elevator and exploded. Moments later a warrior realizes the effectiveness of this and begins throwing Marines down the elevator. All in all I think the elevator claimed around ~12 lives, including the last queen.

After being with CM for almost two years now and after I already told the storie in deadchat once, I thought that I could share my most embarissing moment so far.
It all happened at a time before the big Sentry nerf, when Sentries would pack quite a punch with each round fired.
