Xenos trading Marines for monkeys. I had an Engineer in my squad who got peppersprayed and mugged, like, three times by a random Marine. Oh! And the Liason turned the Prison survivors into his personal goon squad, complete with shotguns and body armor.

It's from the first few rounds of CM I played but it's still one of my favorite moments by far. I was Antonia as a groundside SO and things went poorly. I ended up losing a hand [Or an arm. I have terrible memory. I just remember not being able to use my right hand slot.] but refused to go up until the last minute and then instantly went to try and rally things together and hold a small talk with the remnants of the squad as I usually did, refusing treatment because I was stable, when the dropship was hijacked. I led the remnants of Charlie up to escort the civilians to the evac pods when the moment happened. All the pods had gone off, civilians were evaced, we had no defenses and the marines in front of me were getting slaughtered. So, doing the only thing I could I drew my pistol and starting shouting BS about how we were marines and fought to the last. All my men died once the Queen showed up and screeched, then the queen charged me so I did the only sensible thing. I charged back and unloaded my pistol into the Queen before she slammed into me and I died. It felt like a gritty cinematic moment. A lone Lieutenant with nothing left to lose just charging headlong against a queen guns blazing. An "I know I'm going to die but I'll be damned if I don't go down fighting" kind of deal.

Playing CE and finding one of my MT's practicing there APC fixing skills on the Almyer's Port Point Defense APC. They were breaking it repeatedly and fixing it, I punished them harshly.

My second-ever round of Colonial Marines. I was Runner. (Before upgrade was a thing, obvs.) Runner-me saw a lone marine! OH BOY A KILL! I failed to see the three mines between me and my target.

There was one time I am a lone PFC reinforcement to the LV west cave, I saw a marine body inside the caves, it wasn't there the last time I was around so I believe he was still revivable. I didn't know where medics were so I thought to bring him back, I immediately took out a roller bed from my bag and shift click examine as I got him on the bed, soul was not departed which gave me hope. I got him all the way from west cave to LZ1 but not a single medic, luckly Alamo is here so I asked the PO to go up ASAP and he did. Now with the safety of being inside Alamo, I had the leisure to worry that he might not make it as I didn't know how much time he had left. Nevertheless, I removed his armor and sat next to the east door, prepare to rush him into medbay. As Alamo arrived hanger, I had Grab intent on to force my way to medbay in case I got blocked, hopefully, there wasn't any. As we entered medbay, a doc took a moment then drop the patient he was working on and rushed to us, I cheered to myself as I knew he was going to be fine after all. The doc took out a defibrillator and successfully defibed him, I folded the roller bed and put it in my bad knowing he was ok now. I headed back to Alamo asap fearing I would miss the trip back.

TL;DR, I roller beded a marine from LV west cave back to Alamyer and had him revived.

So like, you wanna know what was fucking surreal? I was on ultrazine the whole op. Hallucinations were becoming constant. I go to the memorial to turn in tags, put down Camil's goggles as a memento. I hear stomping, assume it's just a hallucination. Queen comes into the garden. DOn't pay her any mind, figure it's fake. She starts talking and I assume that's fake too. I see Anthony, who in my hallucinations has been hitting me all game. I assume he's fake too. I go about my business, then the queen screeches. OKAY IT'S FUCKING REAL. Kill it with me and Anthony alone, accidentally killing Anthony too, who I still was not certain was real.

Also. Being on a barricade sucks when the guy immediately next to you breaks your arm with point-blank rifle fire. Then, by the time you are able to splint your own limb due to both Charlie and Bravo medics having *Airquotes* "Dismissed your claim", a Xeno walks by and, before you can react, like a co-worker throwing you an unexpected stick of gum while passing by, it throws a hugger at you.

And. Y'know. Thanks to helmets now being worthless against huggers, we know how -That-panned out.

Later. Commander led a failed counter-attack. Wiped out virtually every squad but Bravo. Bravo is moved to the CIC while the XO tries to send a distress signal.

Admins play a midi of "Supermarine" from the movie Dunkirk. Intensity increases.

I am standing beside a door to the CIC, putting a bayonet on a rifle. Then, lo' and behold, the entire front end of the CIC is gone, and there sits the Alamo.

Round lasted roughly four more minutes.
