I was one of the drones who made the carpet. Later on we had almost every xeno laying down on the same tile in the Alamo and hissing.

Last night on Ice colony, me and a squadie were patrolling the road, both of us with shotguns. I went into a building to clear out some resin constructs, then I heard a faint *rawr* that Xenos make when they pounce someone. I run out shotgun ready, sure enough a lurker was on him slashing him up. I run in front of it for point blank range then *click*.

Lurker gets away scott free.. I grumble in frustration as I pump my shotgun. Comrade gets up and asks me to heal him since I was a medic, and not realizing where my active hand was, I then point blank buckshot him... killing him instantly.

I was able to set things right.. but oh my f**king god I couldn't get over the fact I actually did both those things in under a minute.

Objective: Keep the xenos from getting to the cockpit at all costs.

Outcome: Through the power of DRUGS, I managed to stay upright firing the SMG for a good 7 seconds buying enough time for the Alamo to be called up. I was later revived and we later beat the xenos.

Yes, but from the comms, I was under the impression that xenos were hitting the FOB hard, not "EYY YO, XENOS BE ALL UP IN THE LZ1 READY TO TEAR US UP LIKE A CAN OF TUNA." Besides, I only fell from pain was when I died so your turbo drugs wouldn't have helped much in any case.

I cant remember exactly but I was playing runner or lurker. I was running around fighting and i happen upon a solo marine with a shotgun so I start the usual dance of death with them. I get close to them and the guy tries to pointblank me with his shotgun but I guess he clicked himself and blew his own head off. I have had this happen twice. I didn't even know what to do because it caught me by surprise.

Jumped onto a round of Ice Colony. Things seemed pretty standard at first. Then when I was on Medbay getting treatment. Bioscan announces that there are approximately 40 XENOS.

As expected, everyone on comms starts freaking out. Heck the commander even posted the following.

COMMAND ANNOUNCEMENT

"OK that's A LOT OF BUGS.

40?!

Some of you cant even count that high!

EVACUATE, we'll go on a recruitment drive to another colony to replenish our numbers. We'll be jumping into hyperspace towards some shithole called LV-624 after we evacuate."

Marines then retreated entirely. Then the Xenos crashed onto the ship. OH MY GOD THE BATTLE WAS INTENSE! We initially holed up in CIC. But the battle bled out into half of the upper deck around research and the morgue. Xenos eventually spat and clawed their way in. Then the CO called for a distress beacon then WE GET 20 CLF coming in on one ship.

All three sides suffered major casualties as the entirity of CIC and everything around it was blown or melted to bits. But before a victor could be decided. The Almayer crashed into the planet. Killing everyone on board.

Was certainly one of the most intense Almayer last stands I've played.

I didn't witness it, but I heard what happened over the comms. I was co-piloting the Alamo when I heard someone screaming about how a doctor cut their own head off with a screw driver.

Here's another one for you all. Was playing as Doctor near the round start on ice colony. There were very few medics, so I decided to go down on the alamo to help stabilize/revive any incoming patients. CMO tells me to be careful and come back safe. to which I reply: "I'm sticking with the Alamo, whats the worst that can happen?"

Not 2 minutes after I said that, a Warrior gets into the Alamo, pins me down, and despite my screaming. Swallowed and snatched me away, and no one was around to even do anything about it. I don't even know if there was a pilot on the Alamo to hear my screaming into the intercom.

What are the freaking odds?
