From the round that just ended, during the nexus assault. Aliens only had three losses, and you can probably tell why.

Also, throwing THIS out from the previous round. MT built an amazing solar deck near engineering. The aliens came in, melted everything, but couldn't melt the arcade machine without breaching. Then the MT dismantled the machine and fought the aliens with a plastic sword. This guy's a hero. Check this out.

Props to that MT. The craziest thing I ever did was build a small bunker on the front of the Sulaco when the ship was 'deorbiting' because I wanted to ride it down. It took two hits from BSA to kill me.

So I and the other two survivors get captured. Not big surprise. However I had managed to collect quite a few goodies before then. Ultimately after two failed escapes I decided to kill myself with grenades. After priming the first incendiary, I pulled the second one out only to die due to bursting. This causes the larva to immediately die and the lone incendiary grenade was enough to kill the other two survivors. Hivemind chat was pretty entertaining to watch them try to figure out what happened.

Was iron bear sergeant that round. Ended up having to request iron bear reinforcements as bridge was under attack. We received vodka instead....it was a good deal.

The SM was up and down the entire round until the engine chamber breached and containment failed. MTs scrambled to get the SM fixed. One brave volunteer even vent in a Ripley to retrieve it. Darius Ico, in a spacesuit, tried to drag it away from the core chamber. Just as he was about to push it out, it exploded.

The Sulaco began losing altitude and moving on a direct collision course with the planet. All of the marines were given 15 minutes to evacuate, though they only have about 10 minutes. The CE, Xiphos Volund, got everyone on board the drop pod, the last available means to get off the Sully, and launched it. Just then a few remaining people showed up, trapped in a ship that was progressively growing hotter, and would soon impact the planet. They waited as their faces melted, unable to get the pod to return. Darius Ico, who somehow survived his stint with the SM, was the last to go as the Sully was torn apart upon collision.

That momment when you make a mass barricade in Cargo, only for aliens to go behind the door you expected them not to...

So, during a late night round, I went in as a charlie Engi, got two kills, both of whom were runners trying to fuck up my FOB. Anywho, Carson joins shortly after I depart on shuttle, nothing really happens other than the xenos only pricking at our defenses, meanwhile we have no SL since they are SSD. Then, our Overwatch, Marshall Bowchiew says that one of us gets onto the shuttle and gets promoted to SL, ignoring the fact that we have an alive and active spec running about. Guess what, Carson volunteers, and is shortly accepted by the BO, meanwhile I try to persuade the BO that he is making a mistake, that Carson got drunk mid-op and cried wolf that the FOB was lost.

But that effort was in vain, as Carson went up and got promoted. Meanwhile, drunk me celebrating our doom and an Alpha (forgot his name...) plan how we can fuck with Carson. What we were to do was that he would flash him and then pepperspray him, while I smash a bottle over his head. lolz ensued when the plan worked and Carson threatened to shoot us both (don't have the logs, sorry.)

Then, Leo got his first Oscar, jaws were dropped.

Later on, cave assault happens, there is a marine that calls for help in Hydro, I respond, then shortly after I see Carson pulling a wounded Marine back to the FOB, who stops to type up to retreat back to the FOB, when he is no where close to the rest of us (besides me), and the cave assault is going fine. But way before that, when Carson first landed, the BO told us, that if he fucks up, we are granted to shoot him. Now, I am not that stupid to follow that order to the dot, but what I do is within rules, hopefully.
