When it says "so-and-so is viciously shred by (alien)'s teeth", what is this? Just flavor text for normal slashing or something else?

You rolled luckily with RNG and it has granted you a critical hit, beware that this can happen when you have your tail attack on, when this happens, your tail attack DOES NOT HAPPEN, so don't press that tail again, since you will just turn it off.

Why does peri take the fun out of organ fixing? If I have a patient with damaged lungs, and have them stabilised, why can't I jut surgically fix the lungs (they already need operating on for chest fx) without being bitched out by the CMO? It's basically the exact same amount of time for them.

All I want is to perform a resucitative thoracotomy without being yelled at for "not using peri" when peri would, yes, have fixed the lungs, but an operation would still be needed anyway, and it's easy enough to merge the two ops.

Because, instead of going through the process of doing a surgery, you can stabilize the guy and let the peri do its magic while you do surgery on a different person, wasting less time doing a surgery that is unnecessary due to the meds that you have available.Wait, I didn't fully read it. Any way, it just saves a step in the surgery. The seconds you spent on that step could have been utilized somewhere else.

Sounds boring.
You will never be as bad as the baldie who picked up a tactical shotgun while a hunter was pouncing on top of a CMO for 4 seconds, with his only response being to pace around before being decap'd by said hunter. You are not Brett Kimple, and you never will be. You are not the reason why I regular MP.

Yeah, a little bit. I misread his post, but still, it saves that little inkling of time you could have spent on something else in medbay.

Hm... say, how ethical is it to perform heart surgery on a dead person and then defib them?

Elaborate. I could think of a few different situations that fit into what you're saying.

I play doctor strictly as a meathead surgeon. Now I won't go performing eye surgery instead of using peri or imidazoline (something that is useless BECAUSE of peri), but I love me my surgery.

That said, the true bane of a doctors life is a medic trying to "help" out by shoving your patient full of whatever chems they have that react with your treatment and create MORE toxins in a patient you only have in the department due to being given FOUR quick clots (or more, they had 11u in their system when they arrived). Now a good medic helping out is fantastic, but why poison my patients...

11u's of QC? That's either grief or pure unadulterated baldness.

Why don't you guys ever aheal people who died with 3 QC injections? That's a pretty shitty way to go out.

It was a load of trouble to save him, but I got it done - he only had ~140 tox damage by the time he got to me, so liberal use of dialysis along with dylovene and tricord along with half a dozen defibs to get the chems actually working managed to save him. Probably would have ahelped if I hadn't been able to save him, as that was some bullshit - I don't know how long he took from the surface so it could have even been 5 QCs, but was defo at least 4.

Inject some Inaprov when dealing with situations where they just die. With this, you can have some time to actually do stuff.

Doesn't work - inaprovaline reacts with dylovene in a 1:1 which then creates tricord, which will generally overdose your patient yet again, (as happened when a medic tried to help on that patient). Better to keep ol' sparky for the dylovene to do its job imo.

The ideal situation is to just put some inaprov and bung them in cryo, but fuck dragging them halfway across medbay.

I Disapprove, If you are a front fighter that means you are a marshal, and marshals are loyally implanted to W-Y, so unless W-Y gives you a direct order to fight them, you can't act on your own, correct me if i'm wrong on that one.
