What are the flavour texts that appear when you reach ancient in all of the different xeno castes?

I bet it's just fluff stuf. Sentinel has something like "you are now neurospit machinegun and you embrance salt". I'm not sure.

How do you point at things? Ever since they removed it from the right-click menu I wasn't able to figure out how to point anymore...

Annoyingly enough, Shift+Middleclick, so long as you are not next to an intractable object like a vendor.

Is there anyway a pilot can override the dropship lockdown placed by the Xeno Queen?

I'm not sure and I didn't ever saw this happened and I doubt it did, but there is 10 minutes timer on the lockdown. If you are able to repel attacks for that long and start before Queen will just simply "click" on the console at 10:01 again as all meta xenos do, then you can fly away.

Really? thats.. rather retarded.. this came to mind when I was a PO and the queen locked down the ship.. despite the fact I was physically at the cockpit and trying to manually get the ship to lift off; NOPE, remote control is locked and there's nothing you can do about it, it seems.

That gnaws at me, but thanks for the enlightenment.

I think as long as you have "Be Xenomorph Queen" enabled, that's all you need.

Do synths need to wear masks and gloves while performing surgery to prevent infections, or does the fact that they are soulless machines make them not cause necrosis?

Considering their like Cyborgs/Robots, I'd say no, but if your working with bloody hands or gloves, that might be an issue.

You still need to disinfect, and wear a surgical mask. Good news is that you'll no longer need welding googles.

Only method I've had of doing this is taking your boot knife to the limb with the splint on it. Just hurt yourself enough to knock the splint off.

Can the Auto Doc ever be trusted on Automatic? I've heard and a few times witnessed horrifying events that resulted from Automatic.

Automatic mode will cure all surgeries the person requires except embryo removal. It just takes an incredibly long time compared to manual input.

It is useful to use when medbay is packed, doctors deal with the patients requiring most surgery because its quicker for them to do than the machine, whilst occasionally throwing one of the marines with like 1/2 broken bones in the autodoc on manual mode to clear them up
