Yeah it's pretty fresh like you say, I'd just be concerned about the Queen figuring out lz1 is empty and running up there with all the xenos to attack the ship while the marines are still deployed group side.
On another note, do you know if you can issue orders in a specific channel as an SO? Rather than on the common one
I've seen this happen a few times. Mostly on ice and LV624.
On LV. The Xenos has us pinned down at the LZ 2 FOB. Despite the commanders demands to evacuate. A squad and a half stayed behind since we were still holding the line. I think we were too sucessful though since they eventually backed off and unbeknownst to us, were at LZ 1 calling the Alamo. We lost this round cause everyone at the FOB were pretty much all the remaining troops that weren't crippled.
On ice, when marines deployed to the underground in LZ 2. It was bit of a stalemate. Then marines started pushing hard. As we were looking for the rest of the hive. The Alamo got hijacked and everyone had to book it back to the Normandy. When we landed however, we slaughtered the Xenos because so many of us were still alive and healthy.
While the Queen can rush LZ 1 to attack the Almayer. My experience seems to show that unless the Xenos have killed a good portion of the Marines beforehand or the hive has inadequate numbers. It has a large chance to backfire on the Xenos.
To answer your new question. I'm not entirely sure what your asking. But SO has a command radio. So you need to specify which channel you want to speak on unlike how marine headsets works.
:q Alpha
:b Bravo
:c Charlie
:d Delta
Take note that you also need to enable your headset to receive from these channels too. Take off your headset double click it while it's in your hand. Then enable all the squad comms you want to listen in on.
