Prevalence Of Facehugger Based Combat

Okay... So, if you get hugged and nested, you can still escape. I managed to do exactly that and ran back to the drop pod. Of course, they didn't send it up until I had already bursted, but I was still able to escape. Stop acting like it's the end of the game when, sometimes, it's not.

As for mines? If you're a T1, you'll probably die. If there's a marine around you when it blows, you're fucked as a T1. But any caste above a T1 has a chance, if it's pulled away. T1's get killed by mine spam because they're placed pretty much everywhere, and a lot of times it's in unweeded areas, so the xeno is forever in crit 'til it dies. Otherwise, you have a fighting chance if your xeno teammates come in to assist you.

Firstly as of the current patch Marines escaping from a hive is almost impossible, short of other Marines arrive to rescue them then its not going to happen, in between the long resin resist times, and that you need to spend twenty seconds resisting out of your hand cuffs to even get a weapon. Unless every Alien on the map decides to ignore you long enough to get up, get your cuffs off (leg and hand) and then get a gun and slash your way out then you're simply not going to make it.

Secondly mines are a thing that loses its effectiveness the more times its used. Unlike Marines the Aliens have perfect night vision and thus if they are aware of the prevalence of mines they will be on the lookout for mines, so long as a Alien is cautions they can avoid most mines. Whereas Marines can't really avoid facehuggers since they are the primary weapon of the majority of the Aliens.

All I can see is you are really trying hard to troll, going on with this fallacy while confirming what I said the entire time, that marines shouldnt place themselves alone to hunt aliens or to put themselves into the line of sight of your teammates fire. If you want to nerf what is killing you, nerf FF because obviously one couldnt nerf marine incompetence.

Maybe instead of pulling this shit you may just put an announcement where every noob can see: Again dont -fucking- go hunt aliens alone.

Also just played a match. On last assault it was a 30 marine vs 4 aliens, according to mother report, so that goes again to AGREE with my numbers where there are at least 5/1 marine vs alien ratio at pretty much any given time. If it ever gets to a point where this is not the case it means marines are real shit and it usually only happens after the Sulaco is boarded. Most of the time however what I see is that a single squad can turn the tide for marine side by itself even if the others dont do shit. But if you do screw up, expect to lose this is a game after all right? Do you want to be rewarded for being shit?

Still, GG marines major victory. Marine major has happened consistently by the way, on my end at least. If it doesnt happen when you are on, maybe you should just play aliens because marines are wasting resources cloning useless.

Also in this particular round, half the server was talking how marines won the last 3 rounds, while the other half was saying "3 wins means nothing they are OP!!!". Really? Thats the reasoning we see here. For marines to win all it takes is a half brain on marine side. So yeah Git gud. Game over mate, you lose.

I was the one who first pointed out how marines won the last three rounds in dead chat. Despite the marines still being able to win when they don't play too stupid, it is obvious to me that hugger combat is boring, easy (when the hugger decides to latch on..dang lag), and much too quick for any fun action. I go ravager when I play alien to slash some folks cause the only alternative is a 2 click (or throw) and then drag to base. Slashing is the much more fun option available..and more dangerous.

I'm not trying to nerf or buff Aliens but I want to explore a new field of combat that is not facehugger oriented, its boring and lacks any form of skill. Just pounce/stun someone and shove huggers on their face, then proceed to decapitate them or drag them to your hive.

I still like the suggestions of making Aliens deal pain/haloloss damage per swipe in a consistent manner.

what...this has nothing to do with bald marines or going out alone. Its how easy it is to hug someone and how boring hugger combat is. Greytide happens less on alien side as no greytide can crack how to become a xeno.saying"it only takes half a brain to win as marines" is completely wrong.Marines have it a lot harder than xenos and it takes a lot of skill to win without cheesing in every way possible.Marines can get taken out of the round for 30 minutes up from a broken bone.A hugger can be slapped on in less than 10 seconds and if enough get on you IT WILL BRAKE YOUR FUCKING HEAD.All I can see from this is that your part of the greytide and main xeno otherwise you'd see how easy xenos have it
