There are other suitable places for a lodge on the map. Places that aren't eating 30% of the total surface map geography. And because predators aren't always going to spawn every round, the locale needs something going on for it that might draw aliens and marines to the area. "Amazing RP situations" is a flimsy justification. Lazarus has several interesting RP environments, but CM players can only feign mild bewilderment oh, about only a dozen times, before players stop pretending to be interested and instead focus on practical matters.

The whole problem with all of this is that the map was only up for about 3-4 days, which is not enough time for any judging of the map. You can't say something is a waste of space when 1: no one else is saying that and 2: you haven't had enough time to even remotely judge the map

3-4 days is absolutely enough time because that is 9-15 hours.

Many of us also have several hundred hours playing ss13 and CM.

Most of us have also played pvp games for years.

Ice Colony has issues that need fixing

We're super short dev staff right now.
We really only have Noize and Rahlzel working.

Itll probably be awhile before Ice Colony is touched.

Aliens spawning in the caves or the alien ship i think would be better. Also it would also would make the underground a actual battleground, not a alien hive throughout the whole round. Its preatty lame when all both sides do is fortify the ladders, forcing elevator use for the marines.

Sulaco staff should get there own versions of Snow Gear and helmets. Bright Orange for engineers, Blue or Yellow for medical, Tan for officers or Cargo.

edit: (im a moron, we have that already.)
Gaze upon me,
for I have wandered deep into the ancient tombs of knowledge to which lie madness and sorrow, cleansing a path for all those who walk behind me...

...

But seriously, does uh, anyone know the way out?!
