I think that sentinel caste cooldown is way too fast at ancient, and even elite could do their job with a slightly longer wait.

The spitstun should and is powerful, but keeping more than 1-2 marines down continuously shouldn't really happen.

I recently saw a single ancient spitter take down firstly 4 marines by himself, to then kill all of them, when 6 more came he just did the same with all of them,causing them to run the fuck away. Just with his spits and his claws. Jesus christ, i think this is a bit too broken. I remember when spits had a delay,why the heck was it removed?

Yeah, it's on my list.

Maybe I'll hand it off to a different dev. The problem, is the whole thing needs to be rewritten.

Honestly, I like that acid spits are more rapid and useful now.. But I do agree that stun spits need to be altered so they aren't abused so easily.

After all, a well timed stun can make for easy hugging, so it would be more a reward for a good shot than just the result of spraying shit everywhere and seeing where it sticks.
