Back on old sulaco Louis Calhoun and I were best dicks to everyone else in our squad, and during the assault on xenobio, I got nabbed and taken in. Louis got away, and we spent the next few minutes recounting the time we got upskirts from an EC named Monica Hanford. We screwed around, I got up and started killing drones and hivelords but bursted. My death was an inspiring event, and the charge lead by the marines took back xenobio and eradicated the xenos. Probably one of my better moments.

Got on rasputin, had my entire backpack, belt, pockets and armor full of ammo, we got instantly attacked by camping aliens and i only managed to put a boiler into crit with one magazine, the rest of my ammo i never got to use because i got hugged and i got a bunch of broken bones all over my body with bleedings.

Which part? the full ammo everywhere or boiler? majority of us already got dragged off so nobody really died from boiler, if its ammo, then thats because there is like 25 magazine for pulse rifle in each vendor

Ammo regularly runs out completely over 80 players on the server, so unless you were on when it was quite a bit below that, that was a ridiculous amount of ammo to take for a single marine.

Not to mention, there's almost 0 chance of you managing to fire off all that ammo before you were killed, hugged, or incapacitated. Even if you did, the chance would have been so slim I don't think It would have been worth simply going back for more later.

Of course, that's all more of my personal opinion than anything else- I never take more than a belt full of ammo, because I know I'll likely not even get that much off, and that other marines will need the rest more than I do.

Hilariously enough i never do run out of ammo as a standard, even if i grab 2 magazines, from what i saw, vendors had still around 8-20 magazines or more for rifle ammo each, its usually medics, engineers and SL's that run out first due to them having to grab items NEEDED to do their job
BTW this was a hour into the round, where marines got pushed back once already.

I went 3 hours and used every single bullet I had into killing xenos. I had been one of the first of the ground and watched the squad personnel dramatically change as casualties and SSD'd marines came and went. I had a belt full, a box full, half of the infantry bag filled with mags and my knife. I didn't die, and I actually took point in the final push for the xeno hive. Regardless, the extra ammo is always nice to have.

There was a survivor hiding in the Nexus cafeteria fridge. Refusing to come out. I was chatting with him trying to convince him that it would be safer on the Sulaco. After a while my squad had moved a bit further but I didn't want to leave the survivor to his own fate.
After a while he comes out to chat.
Out comes the banana peel.
Down I go.
Out comes the shotgun.
Crit I go.
Still alive, confused, half-blind and hesitant to shoot the survivor (I don't know why at this point to be honest. Half confusion half curiosity I guess.)
Try to get to my squad. I get up to the center on Nexus when I realize they all left.
Banana peel is here again.
Slip.
Shoot some shots at the general direction on the survivor.
I slip on the banana peel again.
Succumb.
To the grinder I go.
And so I became dinner to a deranged survivor. Who was nice guy. Except the whole killing and eating you part.
