So, being the inventive person i am, i went looking for another marine superweapon to add to the ol' arsenal and decided to take a look into our more underused tools of the engineer trade; assemblies. Now, its curious that most people dont use these more often scince they are actually a really good way to find out if there are things lurning around in places you are not around. As long as you label or write down which signaler is connected to which assembly, you have a pretty good automated sentry that you can rely on for information. To give an example:
Proxiemty assembly = P1
Prox Signaler =Ps1
Sentry Joe tosses his P1 into the abandoned robotics dome. P1 has a range of about 4 meters all around, which is more than enough range to cover the domes center. Sentry Joe, who's in charge of monitoring enemy activity then moves to his post in the medical dome. After waiting around for a few minutes, Sentry Joe's signaler for the robotics dome, Ps1, chirps out a beep. Now Sentry Joe knows theres no allied troops posted in the robotics dome, so that means only one thing, enemy troops have moved around the robotics area. He sends up the call to for a squad to do recon, and after a few minutes the squad manages to catch a squirmy little sucker and send the rest packing back home. Good on you Joe.
Im thinking this could be an effective tool to add to the marine arsenal for those with a wee bit of IQ under the belt. Any thoughts before i write up a full guide?

Early warning Sensors
Gaze upon me,
for I have wandered deep into the ancient tombs of knowledge to which lie madness and sorrow, cleansing a path for all those who walk behind me...
...
But seriously, does uh, anyone know the way out?!
~Furthermore, I consider that Floodlights should no longer be destroyed.~

Re: Early warning Sensors
Unfortunately you can only really use one sensor per person, or else you cannot tell which sensor is reporting.
I have some use with putting em near unsecured ladders on the ice colony.

If you find yourself a labeller, you can label a sensor so its name rings out. Its how i used to make sure my bombs were using the proper triggers so i didnt accidently set off ones in the other boxes.
