Player Appreciation Thread

Post by Toroic » 25 Aug 2016, 03:43

Not sure if we have one of these yet, so I'm starting one. Feel free to use this to let each other know when they were a good squaddie or a good sister. For now, I'm going to thank everyone who played late tonight.

So, tonight I was the only staff on (as a lowly trialmod) and we were able to get through an entire pred round without griefing, mutinies, or major issues. I didn't need to give a warning or a ban out all round, just answered ahelps for questions.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for making being staff for this community rewarding.

Well I mean, Command consisted of an XO and a BO in one round, so there wasn't really anything to mutiny against. At least I hope there wasn't, it was my second time BO.
Garth Pawolski, or is it Powalski?

I think it would be fitting to give thanks to the members of charlie Squad for making charlie feel like MVPs during a recent match I was in, and also making my life as an SL dandy.

Being an SL is not easy, since if your squad is unwilling to listen to you and shows no loyalty, then you are going to have a bad time. A squad that at least tries to keep up with you, however, makes my heart aflutter as I feel a rare sense of respect for once in a leadership role. I only hope I was a good enough leader for the squad at the time.

And while I'm at it, I might as well give advanced thanks to future squads I might lead, IF they turn out to be as loyal and willing as my recent squad, to save time, heh heh.
Sometimes, bravery comes from the most unlikely sources.
