If somebody burst fires into the backs of their squadmates after this update, I guarantee they are getting ganked as soon as those marines are out of Medbay.

just would like to say, that if everyone is shooting a bunch chat would be confusing, as would be real life. When you are running around shooting willy-nilly and all your buds are doing the same its gonna be hard to concentrate and get everyone together to rally. As would in real life marines will have lots of power, but need to know when to use it respectfully.

If I ever will lead a squad of rookies or new boots, they'll lead for sure more be in the front better yet put all of their weapon's saftey on eh? I'll have a protective wall of em.Wait a minute, yas I can power hose em with quickfire+grip, the xenos I mean of course.

Well, the point of this topic was to get sort of a feel of what the population thinks, and to see what might need a rework in our plan.

None of this is "concrete" yet, and I'll bring the issues up with Dev Team.

Eh......I'm not a fan of this, the M41A is my go to weapon for any situation, and I have a specific set up for it when I get attachments, when you guys upped it to 40 rounds that's just fine, no need to be more lore friendly than the way is looks now. We have the single fire and the burst fire features for a reason, and to make it standard 3 round burst will only flood the logs, not everyone uses the 3 round burst. Personally I use it, but I wouldn't want to force everyone else to use it. Leave the M41A alone for now, Its fine the way it is.

1. I like my barrel attachments, though recently I go for a Stock, Grip, and Harness. On my lucky days I can barter for a charger.

2. Everyone has their preference of weapon they would like to take, not everyone uses the M41. Some like the shotgun, or the SMG.

3.Accuracy is fine now, all this talk of balance lately, but things are finally getting better IMO. Sure aliens are OP but Marine players still find some way to beat them.

4.10 round burst? That's ridiculous, Imagine the logs from FF, it would flood the screen, and look like grief. Hell just the other day I was PMed because of FF using the 3 round burst feature when I mistakenly killed a marine getting hugged but I was aiming for the alien capturing him.

Please don't ruin the weapon I love the most.

No thanks,the m41a is a pretty good and balanced weapon in this moment.
It doesn't need any kind of modification.
The idea of 10 round burst sounds like the perfect dream for a griefer, just imagine the amount of FF.
I kinda like this idea for the heavy one (m41E2 SAW).just think about it.

really the only thing i care about is unchambering rounds........i like all the new things done with the weapons to make them feel more realistic but what the hell you can't unchamber rounds. honestly none of the other mods sound good to me.

Yeah, I'm not in huge favor of the ammo count, but an /easy/ way to get around the lagtastic problem could be to code a "3 round burst" spirit and have it do a random 1/3, 2/3, or 3/3 damage every time it's fired at something. That could be a quick and easy fix.
I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....

Mk2 and mk1 sounds better. Don't fix it if it isn't broken. Mk1 with this set up minus attachments and mk2 for the current rifle.
