Surviving the Worst

So I noticed while browsing the forums that there was a lack of threads to share any epic survivor moments. I had to start this as I had one late last night.

I started off the round as a survivor, Jimmy McFarlan the chef. I began by running around looking for some sort of efficient weapon for protection (as I only had a knife and rolling pin) when I ran into John Banto, an engineer, and Evan Stelf, a liaison in the engineering building (the map was LV-624). Evan armed me with a shotgun, the crappy one from the colony forgot the name, and John with a pistol. John began to fortify our position with metal girders in a hopes to delay aliens from face raping us, but the aliens found us and began to melt them with their acid ability. As they began to melt more, we scrabbled to get john more metal for girders until we ran out. At this point were setting up wooden tables and getting ready for a fight. Sure enough they get through and the shooting begins. We managed to take out 2 of them (a runner and spitter I believe) before we began to run low on ammo. At that last and most dire moment I thought it was over, and we were gonna be taken, Bravo squad led by Noah Kirchiner comes in and drives the aliens off saving us (possibly killing more in the process).

This may not sound as epic writing it down afterwards, but at the time it was my first survivor round where I met very competent survivors who worked as a team to pull through and get out alive, sadly the server crashed when the sulaco was being boarded but I would've definitely banded together with them again given the chance.

Yeah that was fun haha, also I had a revolver and tried to shoot an alien in engineering, only to find out if was empty haha. Had to use a welder and a welding helmet to fight them

Fun thing happened

Survivor. First few minutes, maybe 10min mark broken.
Alien at the nexus. Train of thoughts about how dead i am
Benny hill music appropriate, as i run and dodge hunter jumps.
He jumps one meter short
Well, off to bat his skull in and die gloriously
He tries to slice me.
He hesitates.
He hesitates again.
For a good minute i bash him over the head with the crowbar.
He ran after a while.
Yes, he did tackle me few times.
No, he did not bring any headcrabs
