Asking ideas from fellow players

So, yesterday one mod told me to change my char's surname. Yes, after almost two years of playing on CM one person from stuff finaly used my note from Apop, that was given 9 monthes ago ("Using the last name "Aushwitz". He's been warned that he will have to change it if someone complains by Apophis775 (Host) on Thu, January 14th of 2016") and told me to change my surname.

That's why I've created this topic to ask your opinions and hear your ideas of new surname to my char: Jeser "Jes" Aushwitz. Since almost two-years reputation is not what easily can be transferred to new char, and since many of veterans and new players already saw my char and got individual impression and opinion on him, I want CM players to decide, what surname would suit my char best.

My current version of a new surname is "McTavish".

This is silly, use the name for now.
I'll speak to Apop as well, as stopping you from using this name opens a whole floodgate for other names which I don't think we want to get into.

You don't even spell it the same way as Auschwitz, you've had the name for 2 years now and you're a good player.
Players run around with the name of Hiroshima, Waterloo, York and Göring.

We can't start limiting names based around locations and bad events that transpired from them.
Auschwitz is a very common German name and I see no ill intent from this.

I'll flag Apop to this to see what he thinks.

Edit: After speaking to Head Staff you are in-fact going to have to change your name, unless Apop feels differently now.

Aushwitz is a name, if it was Hitler or something we'd have issues but i think you're fine.

Admittedly this line is not clearly defined.

Maybe something just similar enough that people will still recognize it, something along the lines of "Ausits" or "Doshlitz".

Also I'm not sure how your name isn't acceptable but my marine name is fine, I'd say nobody noticed but I too have used this name for two years so it'd be hard not to notice that for that long. I guess it sounds convincing enough as an actual name but at the same time your name sounds perfectly normal so I don't know.

Never seen you ingame at all. With someone with a German name i'd suggest you go on google and search "German sir names" or something honestly.

I'm fine with him keeping the name. It's not spelled the same. It's close, but he's not a shitter and hasn't really gotten in trouble ever. Now, if he was using the name running around yelling about gassing people, that would be different.
