I've been up to my knees in injured marines plenty of times as a medic... and about 50% of the time, some asshat will waltz up behind me and steal an ENTIRE MEDKIT full of items I PAINSTAKINGLY SELECTED OVER THE COURSE OF 10 MINUTES AT ROUNDSTART. And then the fucker will shove the ENTIRE FUCKING KIT into his backpack and run away before I can do anything about it. How the hell is that allowed?

standards are only allowed to use gauze and ointement, nothing else, but thats a hard rule to enforce with 5~ admins on vs 60 marines

Are you playing on 10 round pop? Because there is no way that probably the most sought after role in the game is not full at round start. I keep specialist on high even if I am planning on playing something else because rolling specialist on 100+ pop is slightly more common than rolling wizard on TG station.

Also when perfectly healthy marines crowd in medbay when I am trying to save lives, seriously, GET OUT.

Well to be fair, huggercombat it our only saving grace for obtaining hosts. Due to there being a great risk failing miserably when stalking humans, huggers are the only way to capture and silence. When huggercombat is removed, there'd have to be a stun effect for tail attacks or slashes to the head to make up for such. Just ask a proximity sensor and 2 signalers when you are alone (you'll get a "*beep-beep " message anytime anyone or anything walks in range of the sender)
