I'm interested to see some examples of when you've been on either side (Xeno/Marine) and witnessed some blatant metagaming.
How did you react? Did you immediately contact an admin or did you try to IC your way out of it?

Players will report you for anything and everything.

Aye, I know that, but I also know that there's players out there who will try to RPly defuse the metagaming before it gets worse. Like a commander telling the RO to put the random crate full of helmets back in the armory vendors at the start of the round.

Re: Best Way to Deal With Meta on Your Team
Just last night, during a last stand as xeno aboard the sully, a fellow hunter told me to try and melt the APC linked up to the ship's powersupply, which for all I know, could have had a serious affect on the marines. I myself, rather than blindly do it, simply adhelped it and asked for permission first, which honestly was a tad awkward really...
We all have a moment where we might accidentally metagame with good intentions, or we panic and do something we shouldn't do out of fear more than a desire for winning. But, if you are able to spare a moment, it is always a good idea to adhelp something before doing something that might be a tad touchy. Want to cross the river, but are unsure if it is too soon? Adhelp it. Do you want to melt something that might be very important? Adhelp. And etc etc etc.

Sometimes, bravery comes from the most unlikely sources.
