On average, how many hours are you available per week to moderate? 12 hours/week

Do you have any previous experience in being staff (not just SS13)? Aye, I was here however was removed for inactivity. I had a... Busy week during that time with assignments and the such. I also had a holiday which disallowed me to make up for the lost time. This is more of a re-application.

Did you play any of the previous Colonial Marine servers? No.

Have you had an application to Colonial Marines or New Eden denied before? No.

Are you currently a staff member elsewhere (not just SS13)? If so, where? No.

Have you ever been banned for more than 24 hours on Colonial Marines? No.

If a player was shooting everyone in briefing at round start how would you deal with the situation? I would ask the player to stop, if they do I would discuss with them why they were shooting everyone in briefing while reviewing their notes. If they are a first time offender, I would issue a variable ban depending on the severity of their actions and/or reply. If they do not stop I would ban them for 8 hours before anymore harm is caused and then review their notes to alter the ban as necessary. Of course, I would add a note describing the situation.

You notice that a xeno is breaching the Nostromo and is unable to seal it with resin. How would you deal with this and what punishment would you give for a first offender? Considering this is a first offender, I would request them to ask someone to seal the breach and proceed to link them to the rules and explain why it's not allowed. I would add a note to mark them as someone who should know better should they do it again.

The marines want the nuke codes to detonate the Nostromo because they claim they are losing too many marines. There are currently 4 aliens and 20 marines in your /who. What do you do? I would send an IC reply detailed according to the situation. Not really much else to say here really...

A Sulaco Medic has made several napalm grenades and hands them out to marines. One of the marines throws the grenade into Logistics. There are no admins or other moderators online. What do you do? I would first of all question the marine as to why they threw that grenade. According to their note history, I would issue out a ban of at least 8 hours after discussing it with them. Next, I would question the medic as to why a medic was making napalm grenades. I would more than likely add a note detailing what happened to both players. The medic would only receive a ban if their note history is foul and/or their reply was... Reasonable.

What would you do if a player started to talk about the things he did to your mom last night? I might joke with them a little bit about it and then ask politely for them to stop. If they continue, I would mute them and add a note unless they have a history at which point a serious discussion and/or ban might be necessary.

However, I feel I was a competent staff member and that no community member felt I dealt with them unjustly or in a rude manner. I would really like to join the staff again. I would still be around if it wasn't for that holiday irrelevant of age.

Confirmed. Sorry tristan, but we have an age minimum now. If you were like, 4 days faster, you probably could have gotten around it. But we can't make exceptions.
