On average, how many hours are you available per week to moderate? On most days I get on at about 5pm and play until 2am, but I going cut back a bit

I moderated a server, and on SS13 I have moderated occasionally on my friends tiny server with all of 2 players.

Did you play any of the previous Colonial Marine servers?: Yeah, I remember Jaggerstep invited me to one of the first

Have you had an application to Colonial Marines or New Eden denied before?: This is my first application, It seems like the admins want some more mods, so I thought I would try and help

Are you currently a staff member elsewhere (not just SS13)? If so, where?: Its one of those tiny servers with 1-2 plaeers on it, if you really need to know I can give you the server IP, I don't even know if it has a name

Have you ever been banned for more than 24 hours on Colonial Marines?: To my memory no, the only ban I think I have received is 500min

If a player was shooting everyone in briefing at round start how would you deal with the situation?: I would probably freeze him, and ask him what he is doing, as there is no real reason for it would probably lead to a ban,(depending on the severity it would be 24 hours to a week, if only 1 person was harmed maybe 5-10 hours) and the other conditions of the length would depend on whether or not he is a repeat offender. If any marines were seriously hurt I would heal them

You notice that a xeno is breaching the Nostromo and is unable to seal it with resin. How would you deal with this , and what punishment would you give for a first offender?: I would tell him to read to rules, I would block off the breach, and give him a warning

The marines want the nuke codes to detonate the Nostromo because they claim they are losing too many marines. There are currently 4 aliens and 20 marines in your /who. What do you do?: I would message one of the marines and say check with CentCom before you nuke the Nostromo. When they message CentCom I would reply with something along the lines of " that station costs billions! we want you to clear it out not blow it up, now get working you worthless grunts"

A Sulaco Medic has made several napalm grenades and hands them out to marines. One of the marines throws the grenade into Logistics. There are no admins or other moderators online. What do you do?: I would heal the wounded, freeze the marine, and ask what he did. Depending on whether or not people died and what his intentions were it would probably be a ban from 10-24 hours if his reason were good, maybe a week if he was just a true griefer.

What would you do if a player started to talk about the things he did to your mom last night?: If I am trying to deal with an issue I would ask him to please stop, if I'm doing nothing I may ignore it for a while, If he does it for a very long time I would warn him and if it keeps up I would issue a short 1-2 hour ban

Any additional information you'd like to add?: On my friends server he gave me almost all the privileges. I'm not 100% sure what a MOD can do on here, but I would assume they cannot freeze people or construct walls like I listed in my responses, so if they cannot I would message them to stop and opposed to freezing them, and in the case of the breach, if no other admins were on and depending in the breach was in a major area, I would message a drone and ask them to fix it. I do have some curiosity about first contact situations, as it is so frequently broken and if it is reported whether or not you should give any warnings or just ignore it. Other than that I love the server and would love to help out

I can talk about each accusation if you like, the slashing was mostly not true, the queen gave an order to slash, but then got scared when an admin pmed her and said she never said to slash, and said the order was only to the ravager, and when she said to stop I stopped. The meta-grudger was about a person who would target me ever round because he knew my name, and disliked that when he was a survivor I captured him.The remarks back were because a always killed me or put me in the brig the whole round when I was a marine, I ghosted because he put me in the brig for 30min for assigning someone to Bravo Standard, he shot me in the back with a taser for assigning someone...

Certainly I can explain, sorry I'm my sentences were hard to understand. So essentially yes, he had been arresting me, shooting me with tasers and feeding me unstable mutagen for a good 3 rounds when I was a marine, so I made some comments in LOOC to blow off some steam since no admins were on at the time to deal with it, do note I never followed through on these, however an admin came on and saw me retaliating at him in LOOC and saw me as the aggressor.

Threatening people through LOOC doesn't strike me as appropriate moderator behavior. Aside from that, I can't help but shake the feeling that you're stretching the truth quite a bit here by exclusively playing the victim.

Well yes, but it should be noted that the threatening via LOOC was due to the fact that there were no Moderators on to properly deal with the situation (this is not a bash on the staff, everyone needs rest) since in the situation I was cuffed and powerless to do anything. On a basic level it was wrong to do, but his actions were in greater violation of the rules than mine. And yes it may seem as if I'm making myself look like the sole victim, however that is because I am trying to get my rationale out for my actions, I can give a multi-point perspective of the affair. The fact that he kept coming after me whenever I pushed someone, or assigned someone "wrong" with excess force is just what it was, however he reasoning for this is because I apparently "ruined his round" when he was a survivor. I had him nested in the clothing room near arrivals, I was going to go get huggers but then I saw marines breaking through the resin and coming in so I began to slash him. He begged me to stop LOOC, and I said LOOC sorry, cant let them take you and then crawled through the vents. Apparently at the start of the next round he was very angry, saying he was killed by an alien and that he was taken to cloning but never cloned, and that he was excited for his survivor round. When I joined late as a marine and I saw him as an MP in the cryo room I said in LOOC sorry for ruining your round he replied something LOOC it was you. Then when I was in line and pushed someone once she shocked me with a baton and dragged me to the brig, putting me in for 20min. Yes pushing people is annoying but 20min is a bit excessive. And this happened multiple rounds in a row, hence my building frustration. I can see how doing it once would help him vent his anger, but doing it again and again is very irritating. Everyone makes mistakes, but I mean I've never released a singularity or killed a marine at briefing.
