Mapper/Coder Application

How would you define yourself? (Coder, Mapper, Spriter):

Mapper. Can code/edit basic features and additions. Capable of basic striping work/alterations.

If Coder, what languages?

Some C++ a long time ago, and some BYOND; pretty new to it.

Any previous experience developing with SS13?

Mostly tinkering with map additions and coding new items/features in for borgs (grippers, laser weapon module only selectable at code red, toggleable integrated lights, waste reprocessing module that turns garbage into stacks of usable resources, energy rather than stack based resources, a parts fabricator for engi borgs, bodybag dispenser/collector for Medborgs, etc)

How well do you know Git?

Not sure why people are asking for icons though; spriting is not really what I do.

Two more screenshots from the Medbay; now including a back up SMES substation for emergency power, and lower level access to the cloning station.

Probably will add a prosthetic manufacturing area to Surgery.

About finished; expanded the supply/storage room, added vents, space cleaner dispensers, supplies and air ducting. Surgery has prosthetic makers on site.

Medbay now has a public access button for opening the door to Medbay Reception so patients can let themselves out.

CMO office has a telescreen by his desk which allows him to look through all cameras in MedSci.

High security reinforced window + grille combos are now electrified.

Security cameras added.

SMES substation expanded.

Various supplies/items added.

Oxygen tanks require Medbay clearance to access via reinforced glass doors in order to minimize incidents of griefing from people releasing supercooled oxygen into Medbay.

I've talked with some of the dev staff, and we are currently not adding more dev team members on.

HOWEVER, We expect to be adding more people, In August, once we flip to alpha. The problem right now, is that we have to co-ordinate sometimes daily updates to our test code, and it's become a bit of a mess a few times as it is.

Once we release, and it slows down, we'll accept more people.

So I'll place this as "ON HOLD" for the moment.

I handle mapper/coder applications. Alpha is out, but we aren't currently accepting new members of the dev team (except spriters).

I expect, we will accept people in again, starting early next month. We are still updating WAY TOO FAST (sometimes 2-5 updates a day) to be able to try and filter in more than the 3 who make the updates.

We added a mapper recently.

I'll see what our plan is, for adding more.
