On average, how many hours are you available per week to moderate? For the next two weeks, maybe 10 -15 hours until exams are over, then 6 months of holidays!
Do you have any previous experience in being staff (not just SS13)?
I was a moderator of both the old and new bestRP servers.
Did you play any of the previous Colonial Marine servers?
Yeah, the direct previous one with the mounted mg's and such.
Have you had an application to Colonial Marines or New Eden denied before?
Negative.
Are you currently a staff member elsewhere (not just SS13)? If so, where?
Negative.
Have you ever been banned for more than 24 hours on Colonial Marines?
Negative.
If a player was shooting everyone in briefing at round start how would you deal with the situation?
Freeze the offender, tell the surrounding marines to not touch him, figure out what is going on and deal with the offender accordingly eg, job ban if anything but marine with added day ban. And then assess the damage the marine caused and see if it needs patching up, eg hole into space.
You notice that a xeno is breaching the Nostromo and is unable to seal it with resin. How would you deal with this and what punishment would you give for a first offender?
If the alien is one which can produce resin, I would attempt to instruct them on how to make a resin seal door; while questioning what intentions they had for making the hole in the first place. If there answer has no solid foundations and shows no signs of cooperation e.g "To suffocate all of the marines!" or " I felt let a leisurely space walk" They would receive a 1 day ban.
The marines want the nuke codes to detonate the Nostromo because they claim they are losing too many marines. There are currently 4 aliens and 20 marines in your /who. What do you do?
I would try to take the situation with as much roleplay as possible, suggesting that the marines contact the Commander. But if it comes to a unanimous vote they want to blow themselves up, it's there ship unless it has Company staff onboard and alive they can blow themselves up as much as there heart so desires.
A Sulaco Medic has made several napalm grenades and hands them out to marines. One of the marines throws the grenade into Logistics. There are no admins or other moderators online. What do you do?
Assuming the grenade was activated before it was thrown. I would go through the actions of questioning the perpetrating marine as to why they threw the grenade, acting accordingly on their response. Then I would turn my attention to the Medic to find out how they got the grenade casings and that they are powergaming, acting out as research.
What would you do if a player started to talk about the things he did to your mom last night?
I like to consider myself pretty level headed, If it's just a bit of banter I would give them a warning not to take it to far. And if things turn too salty and they are directly attacking me or slandering my mother. This would be completely unacceptable and I would hate for them to do it to any of my fellow staff members providing them with a swift permanent ban until they apologize for their transgressions in the forums.

Any additional information you'd like to add?
Don't hold it against me that I was a moderator at best RP. It was more active after Purelek was gone and the new server was active.
