pwnt2j - Moderator Application

I don't recall, more than likely no
Common Staff Situations:
Write a description of what you would do in each situation (BELOW) the situation. If you start it on the same line, I'll assume you can't follow directions and auto-decline your application.
1. A player is firing his weapon in the briefing area near the start of the round.
Probably an accident. If he hits no one I'll ignore it. If he fires on people or is continuously firing I'll ask him why. If he is testing the weapon I'll ask that he proceed to the firing range next to the hangar. If he cannot give me a sufficient answer I'll tell him to simply stop as incompetent marines are not allowed to continue service. If he persists then it's a ban.
2. The Sulaco has a breach to space.
Inspect the situation. Identify either traces of explosion, acid use, or literally using tools. Search logs for any indication of what may have happened. If I can find the culprit, question them. If it was an explosive, it's a reprimand and a warning unless this has been a frequent occurrence with them. Ban for any other reason.
3. The marines want the nuke codes because they claim they are losing too many marines. There are currently 4 aliens and 20 marines in your /who.
No nuke codes.
4. A Sulaco researcher has made several napalm grenades and hands them out to marines. One of the marines throws the grenade into Logistics. There are no admins or other moderators online.
Fix damage, remove napalm grenades, warn them all. Ban if second occurrence.
5. A played is starting to talk about the things he did with your mom last night over Ahelp.
If it's 1 message I'll ignore, if it is interrupting my work I will warn him, but if he persists I'll ban(If I cannot simply shut him up) him for like a second. If he comes back and continues it's a ban for a day.
6. You notice a marine with a name that doesn't fit our naming rules.
Let him know. Watch out for it next round. I don't know if I can, but I would kill and respawn him until he has a proper name.
6a. The marine is arguing that: They've used the name for several years, noone has told them to change it before, and that they didn't know it was a rule.
It's okay, he now knows the rule and he must obey if he wants to play. It's not a serious matter.
7. You see a Sulaco Doctor with an M41A rifle strapped to his back running around the briefing area. There are wounded in medbay, and the other doctor is in surgery.
Warn him, if he does not comply it's a job ban. If this is a regular occurrence, job ban and ban.
8. You see a Squad Medic performing surgery on the planet. He claims it was because there were no doctors in the FOB.
There are doctors on the Sulaco. Keep him stabilized and notify command you need evac. Comply or ban. Doing it again will result in a longer ban
9. The round is stagnating. There are 30 marines and 4 aliens. The marines won't leave the Sulaco, and the aliens won't attack. What would you do, to "encourage" the sides to engage each other?
Well, I could give an order to capture an alien alive. Give them that challenge. Spawn more monkeys and facehuggers to give the aliens a fighting chance. If the Queen ends up alone, buff her and see if the marines can achieve the objective.
10. The round ends, and a marine starts unloading his weapons on other marines.
Warning and a ban.
11. A marine who has recently awoken is using soap to slip other marines.
Warning, it's rule one. Comply or ban
12. A marine has killed another marine. When you ask him why, he said it was because the other marine had punched him.
Revive dead marine after reprimanding and banning the other.

Going to be -1 on this. Some of the answers are good others are not. Overall I appreciate the will to help but the application just doesn't seem to have any effort into it.
