Cant say i am, doubt its too hard to get used to however.

Common Staff Situations:
Write a description of what you would do in each situation (BELOW) the situation. If you start it on the same line, I'll assume you can't follow directions and auto-decline your application.



1. A player is firing his weapon in the briefing area near the start of the round.

Sleep the marine and ask them about the situation. in the likely event that they're just griefing i would ban him for however long is necessary and revive those hurt and killed by the persons rampage. If it turns out he has a valid reason for opening fire in briefing i would let them deal with the mps and other Ic consequences.



2. The Sulaco has a breach to space.

Spawn in floor tiles, or wall tiles to patch up the breach. Have a look around for whatever could've caused the breach. if i cant find anything Id have to ask over OOC or LOOC close to the breach to see if the Breacher can be found, if not i'm sure there would be a witness to Give up some info. Give the guy a ban or simply a warning and a note, depending on if its a first offence or on the severity of the breach.



3. The marines want the nuke codes because they claim they are losing too many marines. There are currently 4 aliens and 20 marines in your /who.

Tell the marines to man up and do their bloody jobs assuming i had access to mother. If not, they don't get a response



4. A Sulaco researcher has made several napalm grenades and hands them out to marines. One of the marines throws the grenade into Logistics. There are no admins or other moderators online.

Punish the Marine accordingly, fix those injured or possibly killed by the blatant grief. Tell the researcher to only give grenades to people that hes knows/trusts to use them properly next time.



5. A played is starting to talk about the things he did with your mom last night over Ahelp.

Retaliate with an appropriate ban and a note. Nobody talks about mummy that way.



6. You notice a marine with a name that doesn't fit our naming rules.

Pm him telling him that the name violates our rules and ask him what he would like it changed to, tell him to fix it at the beginning of the next round, add a note


6a. The marine is arguing that: They've used the name for several years, noone has told them to change it before, and that they didn't know it was a rule.

Doesn't change anything, tell him to properly read the rules and ask again for the changed name.



7. You see a Sulaco Doctor with an M41A rifle strapped to his back running around the briefing area. There are wounded in medbay, and the other doctor is in surgery.

Check to see if he is currently fighting for his life, if he survives and drops the gun all is well. if not tell him to drop the gun and do his job. if he accepts just a note. If not then a job ban will be in order.



8. You see a Squad Medic performing surgery on the planet. He claims it was because there were no doctors in the FOB.

Tell him that surgery is not allowed by someone who is not a doctor or cmo under any circumstances, ask him to cauterize the patient and send them up to the sulaco. If this isnt the first time a possible job ban will be given



9. The round is stagnating. There are 30 marines and 4 aliens. The marines won't leave the Sulaco, and the aliens won't attack. What would you do, to "encourage" the sides to engage each other?

Use Mother to tell the marines of the clear advantage they have. tell them to get down there and do their jobs.



10. The round ends, and a marine starts unloading his weapons on other marines.

Insta-ban inbound, 3 hours.



11. A marine who has recently awoken is using soap to slip other marines.

Depends, if hes just slipping people before they get to prep id be fine with it. but if it extends to briefing or beyond, i would pm them telling them to cut it out



12. A marine has killed another marine. When you ask him why, he said it was because the other marine had punched him.

Tell him that he should've followed proper escalation and give him an appropriate ban




Any additional information you'd like to add?

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the majority of you haven't seen me in game, i play as an alien 70% of the time and on the occasion that i don't choose xeno i'm either a doctor or, even more rare, a medic. Honestly any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks

Ehhhh, im gonna go -1 for this, i have actually seen him playing and he isn't bad from what i've seen but i recently gave him a note for being on the front line against the xenos on the sulaco as a doctor but the entire app is just quite basic, the answers are lacking on multiple point and honestly they could just be a lot better in my opinion.

I can't take this app 100% serious with the whole "nobody talks about mummy that way." So I'm going to have to go with denied. We arnt that strict for pointers. If they are baiting you for a reaction, you would have just given them what they wanted. Also issue warnings first. Then mutes. Then if they continue, then you issue bans.
