Except I asked on the slack and was told it was ruled by a manager saying it was not fine. But at the time the discussion had died so I wouldn't bring it up.

The second point, you did took the slacks announcement of feweh saying goodbye to everyone of the staff team on slack, along other messages. I even took it to a manager that found it worrisome but didn't acted due the shitstorm that was happening.

I really don't think I can bring myself to trust you. I saw it personally the messages leaked on reddit, and I took it forward to be taken in action.

This is my point, I won't be discussing it since you will be accepted anyway, just putting it forward that it was both sketchy and troublesome.

I've been thinking for a while about whether to post here or not, but I feel honesty is the best policy, and I think I've always been honest and civil with you so here goes.

I generally dislike server politicking nor the people who do it, and you've been known to do it. I won't presume to know the entire story of your removal, and I don't particularly care because this goes beyond that.

But like I told you once that isn't why I'm going with -1. Lots of people do that and I just stay out of it. No, the reason I'm going with -1 is your attitude. Through my interactions with you from the moment I met you back when you were staff I've always found you to be arrogant and condescending which are not qualities I'd like to see in a moderator. To me, your application is a reflection of this. It is low-effort and low-quality, and I wouldn't vote a +1 on anyone with an application like that. I don't think many people would, in fact, so I don't see why you should be given a pass.

If anything, I'd expect more quality from former staff in their applications, not less. That said, if the rest of staff decide to give you the spot I hope you prove me wrong.

As far as specifications go for applications, the mod manager (just for clarity, is Edge Trevor and is not posting due to bias) said the content, that being the answers, were perfect. I'm not trying to sound arrogant here, but would I be wrong to assume that this isn't low quality if the mod manager himself said it was perfect content wise? I had based around my app around his perception of perfect - that being my original app I had sent him, to let the staff focus on the real issue, that being the trust factor and what not.

1. People salting in dchat calling devs shit and insulting them and some random update that just came out. There is nothing else in dchat.

2. Two players join and state that they're new. They inform you that they know each other and are actively talking to each other, and want some help getting into the server.

3. Old queen dies and a new one pops up. Hive took a lot of losses and they ran away to a new location. There are 3 infected in a nest. The new queen decides to kill all the hosts and then ovis. Their reason is that they don't want to risk dying because of all the hosts.

4. CMP arrests someone, and they ahelp about the CMP not following proper procedure. CMP makes a minor procedure infraction, such as stating charges too late.

1. Nothing I can do but tell them to calm down. Hopefully there's an admin to mute dsay if it gets too wild

2. I'm unsure as to what the current standard for mentor metacomms is. As it was before, I would give them a non punishment note each just stating that they ahelped their comms, and to watch out just in case for future rounds. I'd personally mentor them over any mentors given the fact it's technically a rule break what they're doing (that being meta comms). That's just how we could've handled it before. I'd make note to make sure they don't do any harmful meta comms, and inform them to keep interactions ic. This is definitely a unique case and might've changed from before. TL;DR, not inherently harmful to the round, personally mentor them myself, tell them to interact IC as much as possible, leave informative note.

3: Queen is able to kill infected and nested hosts with good reasons - I'd deem this a good reason. A fresh queen can be easily slaughtered by a single marine, three might be too much to handle.

4: This is a very minor thing and happens all the time. I'd tell him to state charges earlier - As far as I'm aware, MPs aren't held to the same standard, with only the CMP unable to commit crimes. I'd probably end up just informing them of the procedure slip up, as it's very minor and nothing in the rules says a procedure slip up is a rule break. Could totally be wrong here.

1. It has been mentioned you shared/leaked information from staff chat. Even though it was "public" already you still spread it. That accusation hurts your case pretty bad. It is not just that mention but also that I know of at least 2 times staff info was leaked to you. The exact example I can give is you knowing who the seniors were when only the staff was told. Players had not been told yet. The other incident I rather not mention as doing so would likely piss off the devs. Next one other player who has had info leaked to you did a +1 on your app the first one in months they spoke out on.

2. This app has everything I dislike the staff doing. They are already letting you get away with more then a normal player would and their +1's sometimes dont even add something. I asked them why and I still only got a reply saying nothing imo. It is not just the app that smells low effort but even many staff replies.

3. I do not want to ask exactly why you were removed. But I did search on the forums and found an accusation of you trying to blackmail the heads of staff? I dont want to be looking into it to deep because I was not there and did not see it first hand. But all heads at the time rahl/bmc have been gone a week and you make this app. To me that seems as if you knew/thought they would never hire you.

2: The intent of the app is to ask if moderators are okay with me coming back on a personal level. There is no need for a deep examination. Reread what SLC and Emerald have posted

3: Without going into details, I was later unbanned from everything without appealing by headstaff. No further comments are needed.

Literally the only reason I commented on this app was because I didn't have to read the app, but I guess I may as well explain my reasoning.

Sleepy is a genuinely good guy, and I'm not saying that just because I like him. Believe it or not, he was a pretty top notch mod who contributed a massive amount to the server, especially in terms of the wiki, for which I'm sure you could ask tophatpenguin for proof of that.

Sleepy is also a massive shitposter, and doesn't afraid of anything, so he will call them how he sees them. This means he butts heads with people, yes, but his intentions are to prevent the spread of misinformation, like in the case BladeBR mentioned. Could he have been more diplomatic? Sure. Was he wrong? No.

I believe without a shadow of a doubt that sleepy will be a positive asset to the mod team, and that the majority of the complaints made against him in this thread are either misinformed or plain wrong.

Time to repeat myself. Tell me how this is low effort? I had posted a picture of the mod manager saying this applications content was perfect. I took it seriously because I had discussed with head staff and the mod manager about if it was worth apply and if I wouldn't get instantly denied.

I would think that all staff should be treating this with the same attitude and professionalism that we do with the rest of the community.
