How many hours are you willing to put in daily to moderate? Mostly 2 - 8 this summer. Subject to changes this may.
Do you have any previous experience in being staff (not just SS13)? Yes, I have.
Did you play any of the previous Colonial Marine servers?: Yes. The Pre-Colonial Marines before this one started.
Have you had an application to Colonial Marines or New Eden denied before?: No.
Are you staff on another server? Currently, none.
Have you ever been banned for more than 24 hours on Colonial Marines? No.
If a player was shooting everyone in briefing at round start how would you deal with the situation?: I would teleport the shooter to the admin prison or "Kill" his character so that he wouldn't be able to shoot anyone else while healing all the victims that he shot at, multi-tasking between healing and questioning the shooter. If the reason he provides is sufficient enough or that he sounds reasonable (some guys like this have actual PTSDs and are combat vets, I encountered a few during my days as GA on CM) then I will let him off with a warning and preferrably a small/short-duration ban ranging from a few minutes to less than a day. But if he proves to be doing it for "fun" or for his own selfish gains then he shall feel the ban-hammer with the mighty "7" on its hammer-head which signifies for a week ban.
You notice that an alien is breaching the Nostromo and is unable to seal it with resin. How would you deal with this and what punishment would you give for a first offender?: Simply let it off with a warning, note it and then seal the breach manually using mod/admin powers with which a wall can be spawned, or a resin wall.
The marines want the nuke codes to detonate the Nostromo because they claim they are losing too many marines. There are currently, 4 aliens, and 20 marines in your /who. What do you do?: Actually verify if they are losing too many marines in just a short amount of time. If they are and the number of aliens prove to be less than the number of marines then I will just give them a mission to reclaim the Nostromo while trying to minimize their losses this time. But if this proves true and the number of aliens are greater... 'This is Central Command, the nuke codes are *****. Wipe the bastards off the face of the solar system and avenge our fallen brothers'.
A Sulaco Medic has made several napalm grenades and hands them out to marines. One of the marines throws the grenade into Logistics. There are no admins or other moderators online. What do you do? Disarm him/Stun him if I am a Military Police Officer. Shoot him dead if I am a marine since this basically implies he is mutinizing against Command(There is a law regarding wether there are admins or and wether there aren't).
Additional information you'd like to add: I wasn't able to answer a-helps during my previous time as a Game Admin but I hope to change this. I was actually busy with projects and school work and when I get home I try to remain online, however being tired has taken its toll and I slump to sleep. I apply for staff position not because of the power it gives you (I am not power-hungry, actually) but because I want to give players the "fun" factor of playing Colonial Marines and to actually get the server a good stagnant population count. Good stuff means for good people.
