Yes, around 8 years ago I was a co founder and forum administrator for a rather large Starcraft BW Diplomacy map clan. The clan when it was active had around 50 people. Yea it wasnt as big as CM but it was one of the biggest clans for that game type on Starcraft. The clan no longer exists and the members are unreachable.

Did you play any of the previous Colonial Marine servers?

Yes I played pre-alpha on the Nostromo, as well as the Alpha Beta test weekends.

Nope

If a player was shooting everyone in briefing at round start how would you deal with the situation?

I would immediately use the sleep verb on the transgressor and would then PM them asking them why they were shooting everyone in the briefing room. If they didn't respond I would message them again letting them know to click my name in order to respond to me. If still no response I would give a 12 hour ban and make note of what they did and the punishment for the action. If they respond by saying they were defending them self from another I would check the logs to back up his claim. Should I find that he was indeed telling the truth I would release him and remind him that he should refrain from using lethal means to defend them self as it forfeits any admin assistance. If they were Just griefing then I would explain that the server does not tolerate griefing, and would then proceed to give them a 6 -12 hour ban depending on the previous notes and add what he did and the punishment given to the notes.

You notice that a xeno is breaching the Nostromo and is unable to seal it with resin. How would you deal with this and what punishment would you give for a first offender?

Would contact the Xeno and ask if they knew that the wall lead to space and would also inform them that it is against the rules to breach to space. If they didnt know I'd Tell them to not do it again. If they did I would give them a verbal warning and either contact a xeno or a engineer that could fix the breach if it was a major area. I would then also add a note to the players notes stating that he had breached the hall intentionally and the date it was done.

The marines want the nuke codes to detonate the Nostromo because they claim they are losing too many marines. There are currently 4 aliens and 20 marines in your /who. What do you do?

Would Send a Message from High Command stating... "Hello Crew, Our scanners are showing that there are a only a few hostile lifeforms remaining on the Sulaco/LV-624. Please Use another means to eliminate the remaining threat that does not include blowing up our rather expensive ship." End transmission

A Sulaco Medic has made several napalm grenades and hands them out to marines. One of the marines throws the grenade into Logistics. There are no admins or other moderators online. What do you do?

First I would Deal with the Marine who intentionally threw the grenade into the Logistics office by sending them a PM asking them why they tossed the grenade into Logistics and who gave him the grenade. If there was a very good reason for it I will just warn them that that type of grenade is against against the rules and to not use them ever again. Otherwise if there was no good reason I would explain that it was against the rules and considered griefing and would then issue them a punishment of a 6- 12 hour ban depending on previous note and would note the players account. If I already know who the medic was I would PM them, otherwise I would find who it was and then PM them. I would then ask them why they were making grenades that were against the rules to make and use. What ever reason the medic was still breaking rules and would issue them at the minimum a 3 hour ban or more depending on their notes along with a job ban pending appeal on the forums. I would also notate their account with what they did and their punishment. After dealing with the issue I would then ask if any Marines were killed by the grenade and give revives were needed.

What would you do if a player started to talk about the things he did to your mom last night?

I would Laugh to my self and shake my head and ignore. If they continue I would offer them a verbal warning via PM's. If it continued I would Warn them again and then mute them on what ever channel they were spamming on until the end of the round and then also note on their account that they were toxic and that they were muted.

Any additional information you'd like to add?

I enjoy the Community Ive been getting rather attached and involved with it. This is the first game that I have played that ive seen most of the players actually get along and play well with each other. I would love to become more apart of this community and help out where I can. I do have a full time job during the day but I have most evenings to do what I wish. Times will very from 4-5 hours a day that I will be online.

Aye, here some thing I've been seeing in other Moderator application. You might want to reconsider how much a Mod can do, since
Mod aren't Admin, they can still report players, and Admin will BAN them.
OK, just make sure what is correct with the Staff, but might as well learn a few thing or two.

I've also asked you feweh what I did before that was a bad experience with me as I do not remember having a bad experience with you. And as to the looc fights... I don't get into looc fights to my knowledge. I could be wrong. I do know there is another Ronald on the server. I do apologize ahead of time if I did anything to upset you feweh as it was not intended. The only times I usually say something in looc is when someone is doing something they shouldn't be doing or trying to be helpful. I don't like a helping minor things as I know admins and mods are constantly busy with other things that are more needing of their attention. Or someone asking how to do something. I offer my help. ^ That might happen, like this Morning, around 12:00 AM Central Time, Adjective remind me not to IC in LOOC.
It can happen, but as I learn, and hopefully we ALL learn, to be CAREFUL in how we take actions, and NOT just saying it on LOOC.
With the new rules, it's might hinder us, but we are FLEXIBLE, so we will have to be COMPETENCE, later.

Regardless of if he's on trial, pictures would at least show us what you're talking about, because I myself don't remember seeing him get into LOOC fights.

This isn't FriedKetchup's Moderator Application. Anyway, onto the point: I was asking for quotes to support what you say. It will help the admin team as a whole gain a better perspective on Dragon, rather than you keeping it to yourself because it's "not a trial".

+1 Decent application and a frequent player of CM. My only issue with you becoming staff is your RP tends to get a bit aggressive and the answers require a lot of powers a moderator does no possess. All around decent, but I have not really interacted with you enough to have a thorough understanding of whether you could handle the position. However, you seem more equipped than the average player and seem as if you could be hired and learn quickly.
