How many hours are you willing to put in daily to moderate?

This normally depends on the day. On weekends I obviously have much more time due to not being in school. During the week, I'd say 3-4 on average (exception being Wednesdays for the next couple of months due to hockey). On weekends, upwards of 6-8 hours.

Do you have any previous experience in being staff (not just SS13)?

I do not have experience as staff on SS13. I do have experience on ArmA 2 as a moderator for a highly populated (60-70 players daily, before it eventually shut down) light roleplay server, and a moderately populated (20-30) heavy roleplay server. Obviously ArmA 2 roleplay isn't on the same level as SS13 roleplay, but it's still experience.

Did you play any of the previous Colonial Marine servers?

I occasionally played the last server, but not nearly as much as I do now. (In fact, I couldn't even tell you the name of it...I never really played it often enough to remember).

If a player was shooting everyone in briefing at round start how would you deal with the situation?

First, quickly remind everyone to not shoot back if people open fire at them, to keep it from descending into total chaos (and to prevent the attack logs from becoming as long as a book). PM the player, ask them why they did it, informing them it's against the rules. Check their notes while doing this. If first time offender and responding respectfully, give them a 24 hour ban and a strong warning to not do anything like that again. If they're responding with insults, or not responding at all, up to 48. For a repeat offender, 72 hours. If it's someone's third or even fourth time doing so, contact an admin after initial ban to see about getting them perma'd. If possible, revive/heal those injured and killed, if not, get an admin to do so.

You notice that a warrior is breaching the Nostromo for no reason and is unable to seal the breach. How would you deal with this and what punishment would you give for a first offender?

PM the warrior and ask them if they are aware of the rule against breaching. Also contact the nearest drone/hivelord/queen to seal the breach. Check notes. If the warrior responds respectfully or without being aware of the rules, and is a first time offender, let them off with a warning and note it. If they respond with insults or ignore it completely, 12 hour ban. For second time offenders, 24 hour ban. Three or more offenses, 48 hours.

I think this is the ONLY app I've seen in which the applicant hasn't completely fucked up the formatting or ignored the instructions.
