Character Name: I think it was something like John 'Tower' Thompson. Not entirely sure tho. He was a CL.

Approximate time and date of the incident (Central US Time for fastest results): Around 10:18 AM or something like that.

What rule(s) were broken: The griefing rule.

Description of the incident: Me, Dr. Johnathan Chadwin, and the other two doctors got to Evac pods. After that, me and one of the doctor (One got in time inside cryo-pod) get suddenly shot by the CL. I tried to activate manual launch, but it wasn't still allowed. We both died. Luckily the CL got what he deserved, because soon after, a Ravager destroyed him. In ghost chat he used the excuse that he was more important and that there wasn't enough space for him.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): I have three witnesses in total: the two doctors named Sasha 'Cass' Crossman and Aiden Campbell.

How you would punish the accused: I think a temprorary ban of a week or so would be enough.

Gonna add my 2 cents here, but this was an IC issue. Because FTL travel still takes months to reach a destination, you'll be waiting for months, so the pods have a bomb rigged in the in case there are more than 3 LIVING life forms inside them. If he stayed inside while it launched, he'd have caused the deaths of all 3 of you. Although, he does deserve a warning at the least and a jobban from CL at the most.

No, I don't want to sound too salty, but I think a ban to him is deserved. He didn't even threatened one or both of us to leave the pod, he just started shooting and killing us. I think he just wanted to escape and win. I'll leave the duration of the ban to you mods. Also, you could consider giving him a job ban, too.
