Which Staff Protocols (viewtopic.php?f=57&t=5647) were broken: Under Staff Conduct: Remain Professional, and Preserve the RP and enjoyment of the server.

Description of the incident: I was asking about my ban on MP through admin help and the admin assumed I was, as they put it, "salty" . I believe he was just trying to get me angry for no reason.. I mean I just logged on and seen I was banned from MP. He said I went SSD on spawn. I was ready to continue on my day and just roll as a recruit or Private. I am a bit new to the server and didn't know that this was a rule (being banned from MP for disconnecting) but he seemed to think I did. I said "Well that's fucking bullshit" and I suppose he thought I was getting mad at him. And he starts calling me salt and asking me to 1v1 or something. I then tell him to do what I tell every ass who tries to get under peoples skin I tell him to "fuck off" since there is no reason for him to keep messaging me if he's going to be rude. I then tell him after a few minutes right before I was about to spawn as something else, "I missed when Admins were nice and actually helped players", rather than try to piss them off when they're asking simple questions and are in a vulnerable state. He then says hes gonna ban me for "excessively Salt" when I wasn't even mad.. well now i'm mad and I hope something gets done with this guy. I wish the Admins at the time had the balls to step in and help but nah.

How you would punish the accused: Should strip him of rank and ban him for being "excessively salty admin"

The way you phrase everything in your Report seems so understanding and nice.

Then you see your screenshots and it's like you cant read what you wrote? Egging him on by "lol cant take criticism" and "12 year old alert" and "fuck off asshole"

Like how do you think this is acceptable for him telling you to simply "salt quietly"

Your behavior towards the moderator in question makes me wish two week bans were within our SOP.

This is beyond unacceptable, and my team are volunteers who absolutely do not deserve to be treated like this for just trying to do their jobs. You need to adjust your attitude.

I will concede I didn't act in the best way. I apologize that I made you feel that your staff are being abused. But the "thats fucking bullshit" Wasn't directed at your staff. I literally just wanted to play a game and this particular staff member seemed really adamant on attacking me.

You're not talking to paid customer service representatives Who you can get shitty with and expect them to still take "the customer is always right stance."

Frankly if you would have came off as nice and understanding like you do in this report at the beginning then I'm certain you would have had your MP ban removed quickly and without hassle after appealing.

The staff, in it's entirety, are players who volunteer their time and attention to help make the server a far more stable place. And you will find zero patience for harassing or insulting staff who go out of their way to answer your questions.

90 percent of the situation we deal with, people react with hostility. Saying "that's fucking bullshit" is pretty hostile, and if you immediately start a conversation with us by cursing at us, we're not gonna be all nice and have a can-do customer is always right attitude about it.

He was the one who brought up being "salty" I wasn't even phased by the ban. I was just asking why I got it. He started with the whole, "Oh you're just salty xxddd go cry" type of attitude.

Well actually I said, "That's fucking bullshit" because I was talking with him, not at him. I realize that you do probably deal with very salty people all day and it gets to the point where like you guys said you can't really deal with them like the old customer way. I didn't mean anything by that and just wanted to play the game and share my thoughts on the old ways of being an admin.

Normally, I'd increase your ban for this behavior as really it's not a proper report and your ban time is pretty light.
However, since you've come to understand your errors will leave things as is.

In the future, perhaps don't make your username "Salt Incarnate" and then say you aren't categorized under those type of people. Especially seeing as this report you made, is the definition of being salty.
