Description of the incident: Was standing next to Ilse Dettweiler when they got arrested, tried to clear the scene, Luke 'PewPew' Compton tased me down, Tornadium Axonium baton'd me several time, I was then brig'd for 20 minutes. All this occurred with no RP before or during and was completely unprovoked. Only after I'd been brig'd was I told that I was in there for interfering with an arrest and resisting arrest. I'll let the logs speak.

I think I can help shed some light on what happened here I was part of Alpha squad, so where Isle and Anderson. We were all sitting in breifing when some private, I forget who, punched Isle who was the SL of Alpha. Isle punched them back and proceeded to reprimand but a passing MP only saw the log for Isle punching the private and proceeded to try to arrest them. Myself and the rest of alpha were not about to have that so we all surrounded the MP who was trying to arrest Isle right next to our seating. At some point someone threw a punch at the MP and his taser came out, most of alpha was rounded up but it was later cleared up when it was revealed that the MP had been ignoring the Alpha SO's orders telling the MP to not arrest Isle since she was just punching the private who original punched her.

I detained you because you were constantly pushing the CMP away from the brig doors and trying to free the SL. You were already marked for arrest and were part of the group of Alpha Marines which mobbed me previously where I was beaten, shot at and nearly murdered.

I explained all of this to you later after you cut the logs.

The CMP and other MPs can vouch for this recollection of events, Just because constantly running into and blocking MPs doesn't appear in the logs doesn't mean you can fuck with another player without consequence because "XD no proof".

Edit : To clarify, You were baton'd multiple times for repeatedly trying to interfere in an arrest and for trespassing in the brig when you were told twice before you were touched to stop and leave by the CO. I didn't have cuffs after the second baton so I had to baton you again to keep you down while I grabbed cuffs. Also I didn't have time to talk and give you charges since you were illegally trespassing in the brig and I was dealing with multiple other marines trying to assist you in freeing the SL, you were informed of your charges whenever I got you to your cell.

I heard no order from an SO to call off the arrests (I personally wasn't told, I didn't hear one given to any other MP either) and the WO and CO+Admiral approved the arrests.

Anyway, I believe this is when I actually managed to arrest the Alpha SL. I was dragging them in cuffs to the brig to process them when Anderson Scott stood in front of the Security Hallway door in harm intent, repeatedly pushing me and stopping me from entering the brig. Seeing how he was interfering with the arrest, I tased him down, then I assume Tornadium took over Anderson's arrest while I processed the SL. I fail to see how tasing down someone who is interfering with an arrest is griefing or breaking the roleplay guidelines. If you interfere with an arrest I assure you police are not going to talk it out with you, they'll ground you FAST.

I did no such thing. We were there to show solitary as a squad. I tried to clear away from the brig doors and was getting ping ponged around by other peoples intents. Also, it's really hard to get out the the brig when you are face down, immobile, and being drug around.



Didn't the Admiral unzip the WO's head over all this? I don't think that speaks towards approval.

I literally watched you move TOWARDS the WO multiple times with no one else near to to push you, You interfered multiple times and tried shoving the WO out the brig door when you managed to get inside while he was still trying to grab the SL.

The CO and Admiral authorized the arrests then for some reason later in the round said to release everyone, including the people who tried murdering me. The executions were for disobeying the order, not for any other reason.

Edit : Just for clarification, Isn't this kind of behavior considering ban baiting? Doing things which are untraceable by logs then attempting to get other players banned?

While not my job to judge these, but I wouldn't say Tornadium has any reason, from what I've seen, to be job-banned. You where trespassing in the brig if at nothing else and you went to the brig looking for trouble so this all seems IC to me.

You were inside the brig, You followed an officer inside and were pushing against the CMP blocking his path into the brig. The CMP tased you so he could get past you and into the brig, You were clearly in your own logs moving into the SL and the CMP and you had declared intent by your own words to go to the brig and cause trouble.

What was not expected was the behavior of the two named players who had not directly interacted with my character before attacking him. I still maintain, and will continue to do so, that this incident occurred outside the brig, that I did not intentionally shove or block anyone (there was a lot of jostling all around since there were about 10 people with mixed intents in a 5x5 square outside the brig), and that I did not enter the brig voluntarily (I was drug inside while still stunned). I was angry because this cluster basically torpedoed my entire round. If I had been part of the mob that attacked the MP or attempt to grab or disarm the MPs arresting the SL it would have been understandable but the fact remains that I didn't participate in the attack and that I did not interfer with the arrest.

I know that nothing official is going to be done about this and really don't care anymore. I just ask that the two named players make an honest evaluation of what happened, understand that their behaviors negatively impacted another player, and show more discretion in the future.

While going to the brig with the express intention of dicking around and causing trouble. You poked a beehive and are now upset that you got stung. As witnesses and the evidence say, you were interfering in an arrest, you had trespassed in the brig and you are lying through your teeth.

Had this been a case of you got caught up in the wrong place and we misunderstood the situation I would be apologizing for your round being ruined. As it stands you were dicking about and crying wolf when you got caught.
