Description of the incident:
Alright this isn't meant to be a full report so much as a complaint. The past week or so I've noticed certain MPS haven't been taking the role very seriously. The character in question (hernandez) was walking around with a chefs hat on while the Marines died like flies. Another instance (not sure if it was the same character) saw an MP jetting around on a chair with a fire extinguisher. Lastly I guess is a non issue but I was at the southern checkpoint and the MPS were asking for the "seekret passwurd" or some nonsense and hernandez was in improper uniform. I looced that she/he should be banned from the role for not taking it seriously and was attacked verbally by other players.
I A helped about it and in this case the improper uniform was actually donor gear.
Okay.
So in this instance I'm launching a complaint against a donor who has obviously been with the community a lot longer than I have which is a little daunting.
But that shouldn't matter should it?
I thought MPS were supposed to be rigidly held to the rules of the game and it's frustrating and immersion breaking when they goof off. I get pissed enough when the Marines fuck around but the MPS are supposed to rein that shit in not devolve to that level.
If hernandez wanted to fuck around I think they shouldn't have been in that role.

How you would punish the accused:
Considering I've only been playing for a few months and I'm reporting/complaining about a veteran player...well I don't want a ban implemented. I'd just like the player reminded of the rules whether or not they are a longstanding member or not. I'd like a warning given and a reminder that even MPS should be brigged for fucking around.

Please do ahelp low RP behavior, especially when done by MPs, it's against the rules and not something we let slide.
Logs show a moderator took your ahelp and said he would look into the low RP, so the issue was most likely handled in game.

This report will be looked into by senior staff when they have time, but unless you have specific names or instances of players behaving innapropriately, I don't think there's much we can do.

Well the complaint is the result of an accumulation of things as I said but the latest incident with the misunderstanding about donor gear and the "sekreet passwurd" happened about 14-16 hours ago last night I guess. As for time zones I'm not sure. I'm in the eastern time zone in Canada.

You arent reporting a specific incident and we arent going to cherry pick through an entire players history for bad stuff.

Yeah, there's really not a lot to run on here. What you can do in the future is ahelp the second you see stuff like this and we can handle it. If there are no mods or admins on to handle it, it's good to mark down date, time, and names and make a report like this but with details.

Going off of this as now, there's nothing for us to investigate. If you wanna get us some names, dates, and times, I'd be happy to launch an investigation. Otherwise, probably best to wait until you see more behavior like this in the future.

If this isn't a player report, then you shouldn't be making one under this thread. If you have an actual complaint with someone, you need ahelp it during the round and someone will look into it then. If you do want to report a player, you need to give us a name, time, and reason for an specific event.
