How you would punish the accused: Nothing, just let him notice the mistake only "If" the Execution was not rightfull. (I did enjoy the Event, he did not ruin anything, I just got told if I wanted to know I had to post a report)

So I was the "CMO", I went into medbay and did the usual stuff, getting my equipment ready and making some chems for the Medics;

~30-20m. Later,

• Someone in the Command Channel said that the CL was dead, I was confused at the moment cause few minutes ago We had a RP encounter, and now he was Dead? So I went in my office and checked my "Crew Monitoring Computer" to find his location, he was dead on top of a body bag, unfortunately "Dead Forever"... I asked the Doctor what happened and he said nothing or something like that, and I told him to not tell anyone about the event cause he might get in trouble and so he tells me about an Overdose even if it was already obvious;

the Commander then heads to Medbay;

• cause I gave the location of the accident in the Command headset and he starts asking the Researcher for intel, I whisper to the researcher not to tell the truth but he goes on and after a while he tells him everything and I've also found out during the interrogation, that he got bribed by the CL into making Hyperzine that explains him not being revivable;
  I'm pretty sure the commander did not hear me whispering him to Lie- | Might be Wrong |

Once the commander was done he ordered my arrest too;

• Probably cause I first said Overdose and then I changed my mind after hearing the researcher saying natural causes, but anyway the researcher said all the Truth at the end, and I in no way did Interfer with the arrest as far as I'm concerned, once I got told I was getting arrested I did nothing but RP acting confused and not moving when getting cuffed.

Once I got in my Cell,

• I also started roleplaying... and then one of the MPs told me I had a family even if I was just 23years old I already was married and had a son, regarding the MP, so I started to roleplay that too even if it was pretty "Surreal".

Let's get straight to the point,

• Once I got moved into the execution chamber and I said my last words I got "Executed" without interefering in anyway cause it was an IC situation and it was pretty cool as it was my first time getting Executed but also pretty dissapointing..

I just got told that if I wanted to know if it was rightfull, I had to make a report... I did ask in ahelp, and I got answered so.

Hey dude, I'd argue this issue is directed at the wrong person, the CMP (and the MPs) ultimately have the say over marine law.

I did however order your initial arrest and accepted the recommendation to execute you.

I'm surprised the responding admin/mod didn't inform you of that.

So, here are the factors which played in to your demise

Allowing Hyperzine to be distributed in your department, (After I banned it, with the phrase of 'I dont want anyone to die of organ failure', ironically this happened the the Liason)

The illegal distribution of further (normalish) chemicals by your chemist to non medics/surgeons

The fact that I, the CO noticed the death during a random check on crew monitors before a nearly patientless medical, it was worse that he died in medical.

The fact it was a corporate liason who just filed a high command complaint about us, had now been poisoned in a conspiracy which involved both my CMO and a Researcher

However the WORST thing (In the eyes of Crimson, being the straight-edge he is) was the fact, you, the Chief Medical Officer outright lied to him about the cause of death, then proceeded to tell the Researcher next to you to lie about it. This is also how you ended up getting charged with "interfering with arrest" (AKA you lied to myself and the investigative team about the CLs death)

I'm pretty sure I even had a little speech after it to Lieutenant Commander Olaf about how I could have forgiven your negligence, but I never could forgive your attempt at lying to me. If you didn't lie to me, both you and the researcher probably would of got off a lot lighter.

Regardless it was a decent bit of roleplay in an otherwise dull round.

Oh and your charges for interfering with arrest, an extension of the researcher were...

Also possible malpractice as someone who dies from hyperzine is in fact revivable despite medihuds showing otherwise, you need to repair their heart before defibbing.

Player reports are basically just that, reports. I understand you wanted to have more of an in-depth discussion on the topic but this really isn't the place to have that. If you wanted to just talk about it with staff/others, it'd be better to either make a forum post in one of the general sections or ask questions about it in the CM Discord (such as the Staff-Help channel). From this point, you basically can say that he did break a rule in need of being punished or there was no rule-break so it's going to be closed.
