Which Staff Protocols (viewtopic.php?f=57&t=5647) were broken: Remain Professional, no matter what happens I feel, and being a dick.

Description of the incident: So, this is not about the new updates, whatever your opinion may be of it, but about the conduct of Blade200br, a moderator. Since day one I've always felt he's been using his position to basically call anyone who disagree with him 'powergamers' and 'salty' (Through that seems to be what the mods do anyway), even having made a thread about it were he basically said everyone who dislikes the updates are powergamers. Everytime an update happens, he seems to lead the charge in trying to just rile the players up, liberally throwing around the words 'powergamers' and 'salt' like it going out of style, without even trying to talk to the players without a tone of condescension and contempt. Throughout the entire conversation, he was just being, and excuse me, a prick and for some reason went on rambling about whether or not someone was gonna be racist to him. It seems to be the general mod attitude to when this happens, but Blade is the worst offender in my opinion.

How you would punish the accused: I will leave that up to those that are in charge. I honestly don't feel like he should be a mod through, but I will agree with any punishment (Or no punishment) that you guys see fit to give.

When I was a mentor, I do remember him acting a little over everyone else, but to a minor extent. I feel like this is also a more personal problem as it is only a minor thing, and as you said, ALL staff think of themselves higher than the average brute.

Scrubaverse, in fact, did respond to bladebr in a way that could be contrived as egging on, if you looked at it out of context (If you look at the post below). It was already at the point where the argument was flying several messages per seconds.

But I will note the report says blade200br, not Cpkeyes. I do believe that Blade was acting poorly and was trying to stir and it's something he has done before, you can claim this is a personal grievance, but I will stand by that it is not.

I also there is a difference between being heated and calling people babies, saying people can't comprehend something because they are salty and claiming someone is the manager of the salt factory.

I was out attending somethings on IRL when I got notified about this report, so I should start clarifying some things:

1: The thread about the "power gaming" thread was made by me times prior even I joining the staff, and was to address the issues that a player used and abused the feature of the clock gimmick of scout when it freshly came out. I was annoyed by it and wanted to vent my opinion on the forums, as a player and not mod. I was not mod at the time and it was a personal opinion of mine at the time.

2: The "dictator" talk was more of an explanation of why some things are strange when explaining the jamming issue brought up on the discord. It was just taken out of context, but I won't get on this merit since it was an off-topic remark on the general chat anyway.

3: the "racist" claim I made was an off remark that a guy actually called me the N word on 1st April after I made a meme @everyone tag. It was a bit out of context with my initial remark but was referencing it.

4: the last screenshot was maliciously portrayed, this was at the start of the chat, where I gave some bullshit logic for why caseless guns jams. It had no context and was a pure bluff of the moment, evident by the fact I finished it by "logic confirmed". It was just bullshit comment for this as I had no idea why this happened. I use to do that all time.

5: I don't really like how sleepy posted everything that scruba said but "forgot" about the other posts that cry showed. I will leave that for the heads, but this is fishy for me.


With this out of the way, I would like to apologize for this behavior. The situation escalated quite fast, and I surely didn't act up-par for staff standards. I did get a bit excessive with Cpkeyes and Surr, and it's something I shouldn't do as a staff member.
My actions, though, was not meant to offend people nor act unprofessionally. I was trying to lighten the mood on the start, given the illogical things I said at the beginning of the convo. I got a bit ahead of myself, though, and when I got shaken by Lordington was when I noticed things were getting off-hand. It was at this moment I just stopped and left, as I had to do some IRL stuff and staying there could get worse.

I also shouldn't have said sentences with only half the context, but since I was in a hurry, it got as I was trying to stir shit up, which was not intended at all.

So indeed, I do apologize for getting a seemingly simple chat about "jamming" get such out of hand. I will act better the next time. I will let the heads handle it as I trust them.

Some of the stuff may seem out of context because I kind of took these out of order, it's not an attempt to make you look worse or anything and, no problem dude, I understand how it is.

Since I saw this, this was also incorrect. I had scrolled down through about forty messages and took non-duplicate messages and the ones that pertained to the conversation. It wasn't malicious in a sense, because all I did was show quite a few from scrubaverse. I did admit that I missed them. I was simply trying to prevent the deflection of "well actually, you, in fact, were also egging people on." It was two comments versus about twenty from you, which you even made before they said theirs. No need to assume what I did was malicious.

But I know that's the first thing you guys did. It's clear. I have nothing to gain from defending scrubaverse. We're not friends. We've never been friends. I was just trying to show that, "hey, they really didn't say much egging on." If you check back, there was a LOT more of them not saying egging on stuff, but I decided to not post it all. It was just me accidentally glazing over it. You know how small the menu is.
