Description of the incident: The round was being delayed by a few runners who were just running around, hiding under bodies and generally being pains in the asses (As one had spawned from larva to runner on the ship itself) so instead of properly ending the round for delay, Emerald blood spawned about 25 runners and continued it, repeatedly dismissing ahelps reporting the delay and just spawning the runners for shits and giggles. The other runners (Who were most likely salty dead xenos) continued to delay with no punishment, hiding in corners and waiting until the round timed out from no queen being spawned, at the end there was only 3 and they were not punished for laying down and sitting out of sight far away. I don't believe intentionally delaying the round like this is fun for people, and only served to pander to the salty xenos who were mad there were some extra combat synths spawned.

How you would punish the accused: Personally a talking to so they don't do this again is all I ask, because it's intentionally delaying the round to appease the dead xenos who are salty they got killed, it's boring to sit in dchat watching the last few runners fuck around and hide to keep the round going, and then spawn in more because the salty xeno's asked for it.

All I am doing here is putting it out because I believe it was wrong to do such a thing. I am not asking for any punishment for Emerald besides talking to them because I personally believed continued delay of the round is unfair, there was also no 'poll' for it, it was only the mass of DChat, which I don't believe could accurately gather all the votes as there is repeat statements and spam that constantly happens, so 'democracy' in this case is just a vocal minority yelling 'yes yes we want this'.

Also I do not appreciate the personal attack you've put against me over this.

Ironic I got a report for not forcing the round to end myself. We have a natural time that goes when the Queen has been dead for a set time. I never told those Xeno how to play or delayed the round at all. The round even ended due to the Queen Timer. I'm sorry the fact that the round didn't end soon enough for your personal liking, but I don't believe saying I should be forcing the round to end sooner because you wanted to restart is a very valid complaint. Obviously, I'm not taking part in judging this being it's about me.

I was also a witness of this, can confirm it was asked if people wanted to continue the round and the Dchat got filled with 'Yes', then what kind of enemies and then it ended up being runners.
Situation with Hunter: You dont seriously mean that right? I mean, its the same as if asking to gib marines which are outnumbered, just started SD with 5marines left and 20 Xenos around. You cant just complain about the round not being progressed in the way you like or being sped up. If somethings happens in game in rp, you need to go along with it unless its breaking a rule. Delaying isn't RP'ing, it would be delaying if the Hunter was hiding under a Carrier, Hivelord or any big beno corpse where they wouldnt be visible. Asking someone to blow someone up which is in a rp situation is basically like asking them to stop playing, you have no right to interrupt another Player's experience if they aint breaking a rule.

Right Soviet, You wanted Emerald to do a vote and wait till all 290 players voted yes or no? The round was an hour and a half long. Now If this was a 4 hour ice round. Yeah I'd understand that you may be a bit disgruntled about it, But you are reporting Emerald for giving people more chances to play in the round. There was absolutely no chance for Xenos to win this due to the amount of marines.

I was watching the runners the whole time they were 'delaying' and at no point did I see them lay down for any longer than they had to to heal. The planetside runner killed over a dozen marines singlehandedly. The other runner, on the ship, managed to kill two people before being killed by an MP it was fighting.

At no point did I see the hiding and laying out of sight you've mentioned.

There was no official vote on the matter, it was a vocal minority asking for it when there were still people asking for the round to be ended due to delay. I also have said that the remaining runners were delaying by hiding around, under corpses of other xenos and generally wasting time. A vocal minority is not the basis of democracy, and deadchat filled with dead xenos who want to win and keep it going as long as possible because 'fuck losing' is seemingly a pretty skewed vote of democracy, considering the living marines were not asked about this which is also one part of the people having fun, and maybe the majority of them would prefer to instead fight another round instead of hunting down various runners in the tunnels who are hiding and simply ambushing them repeatedly? You asked one group in the server of dead aliens, not all groups.

I don't play xeno so I don't see any way that I would be upset over that. Also I was asking beforehand and ahelping before the spawned runners about the delay, so this being about me 'not being in the action' is false and just another attack on me instead of my points.

Mkay, so I've read through this, and I'm going to give my opinion and final decision on it. Personally, would I have spawned a bunch of runners? Nah. Would I have taken a verbal poll instead of using the vote verb? Nah. I would have just bombed the last runners and ended the round there.

That being said, all admins have administrative discretion on how they use their powers. This use of power did not increase the round time past the mandatory end for not having a queen. This use of power was asked for by the players and done for player enjoyment. Could it have been done better? Sure, most things admins do can be done better. Was this wrong? Fuck no. You're being a salty little bitch about something pointless. You would only have a point in this if it was an insanely long round, but it lasted less than the average round even with the extra runners.

Emerald did not abuse or misuse her power, and I see no reason for any administrative action against her. I've gotten reports of you being real salty lately, but we're not going to ban you for a salt report. What I am going to do is tell you to take your titties in your hands and calm them. Just because you didn't enjoy something doesn't mean the vast majority of others didn't.
