Description of the incident: I was a SO from the start of the round with two others Cyrus Ambrose, Roscoe 'FF' Carr and the XO at the time but I can't remember her name. I did my job in CIC for a hour or so till the blast doors opened. I then asked the XO soon after if I could deploy to assist with the men. She agreed and I went off to get a few things and deploy. Well I guess the CO Jack Knight awoke sometime after I left CIC and before I deployed and the XO cryo'd because by the time I had gotten on the DS and deployed I saw that the CO was yelling for me. He was requesting I return to CIC at once "which was fine" but he was being very rude and hostile to me. So I replied that I would report to cryo at once, and he got very offended and called me a crybaby and some other things. I wont lie I said a few very unkind things as well and then cryo'd. I then ghosted the rest of the round and saw that he had issued me a medal- A bronze heart-shaped medal awarded for sacrifice. It is often awarded posthumously or for severe injury in the line of duty.
Awarded to: 'Staff Officer Ellie 'Coffee' Weaver'. The citation reads 'For having her feelings broken hard enough that they went to Cryo after being told they could not deploy. And effectively destroying Charlie and Delta due to her neglect and incompetence'.
Not only is this a untrue but it is also VERY offensive to me. I do not believe this is improper use of the medal system and I believe the CO was also using his position to Grief.

How you would punish the accused: honestly I am unsure, maybe a job ban or at least a warning

First things first, I was informed by an SO that you ignored Charlie and Delta during overwatch duty, hence allowing Bravo to be killed and for the other two to be disorganized, and you failed to respond after a being asked where you were.
After that you proceeded to proclaim that you were heading to cryo, in a "tantrum", starting some drama in the command channel, going as far as to say that you "won ops on your own before"

The Medal came as a bit of a joke while I was doing medals for a Squad Leader, Specialist and the Tank´s Driver, "commending" the behaviour that would not fit a Command Officer and remarking that it would appear on your service record.

Later into the round I was spoken to about the medal and warned to avoid using it for Jokes such as this one by, Skysoldier I believe.
While the medal may have been a bit too much on my part, I would not say it fits into "dont be a dick" or "Grief" solely due to mocking someone ICLY for neglecting their duties and cryoing when they were not authorized to deploy.

In the end, the situation was handled ingame already, I was warned for the Joke medal and I have taken it into consideration, the warning, to do my best to avoid making more in the future.

Edit: Further on, if you did believe it to be offensive on an Out of Character Spectrum, then I apologize, but I do wish to say that it was aimed solely in-character, for the character and their actions, and not the player behind them.

let me guess who that SO was- Cyrus Ambrose? also I didn't ignore them at all I did my job ALL THE WAY up till I asked to deploy. Lastly if you think that medal is a joke you have a poor sense of humor I call the grief. It offended me then. It still offends me now. edit: due to poor grammar

Jack Knight was warned regarding his rather low RP medal issuing.

He apologised and said it wouldn't happen again.

A job ban really isn't relevant for something so minor.

I was, in fact, the person that gave him the full report when he first landed. You were incredibly non-communicative with the command staff during that round, and have been during rounds in the past, and as a result it caused issues. The only reason that the CO got angry was because he had asked your location no less than a good half dozen times - I tried to call for you too several times - and you never responded. This has, again, been an issue across multiple rounds. In any case, you should not be one to talk about how he acted in round, when you said, as to almost quote the line: "I have complted multiple OPs on my own so fuck you weak pussies" as you went to cryo. For Jack, he was completely in line, save for the medal thing (which many OTHERS found funny, at least, myself included), which has been handled as above stated.

Alright I can agree a job ban is not really fair, though as a commander I would expect him to have honor and dignity above all other crew. "and as a whitelisted CO you should have better RP standards imo" but I am fine with this outcome. A apology is really all I want I guess

luna you are new correct? and also I am only unresponsive when I am deploying because I am busy trying to get down ASAP. I rarely SO with you and I SO a lot. and NO one other than you has EVER complained about my communication. So sorry I cannot meet your standards

I was around for this, as the second XO. Weaver effectively wrecked a couple of squads due to not doing their job properly as a SO, whined when Knight denied their deployment and promptly cryo'd. Whilst I was part of the round, Knight played as an excellent Commander, listened to input from CIC staff and dealt with things in a reasonable manner. The medal was well-deserved.
