Description of the incident: Marine law arrest protocol was not followed. I was cuffed while on a surgery table before surgery happened - I was not told my charges.

I told Crimson he was paranoid if he seriously thinks someone would try to bait them. Just a little food for thought, thought this would be relevant to the report.

Of course, if I can catch CMP's being assholes, abusing their power, or in some way griefing, I'm going to do whatever I can to keep them "honest" - seeing as there have been REPEATED events over the last week of CMP's and MP's being complete pricks and arresting Commanders for whatever reason they can.

This is about the events that transpired, not my obvious frustrations with Marine Law.

That was Jack Knight who said that, I was an MP during that operation, he was CMP, though considering he is advocating a job-ban because I cuffed him during surgery, shows that he could possibly me out to collect heads on some mission to cleanse the world of CMPs.

But yeah, were unconscious when I handcuffed you, you werent awake so I waited until you woke up (And as previously stated, spoke to some marines, nearby,informing them of your arrest), your charges were read on the way. (Your Lieutenant/Acting CO/XO was informed of the charges also, prior to heading medical)

I'm more than sure I read your charges to you, the logs will show. However it did turn out to be a hectic situation because you were screaming that you were dying (You were not, I TOOK you back in to medical to scan you, you lied), and then when it continued when you screamed for marines to come help you, or when they started beating me down, or when you ordered them to kill me regarding a legitimate arrest. And you had your lynch pod murder myself and the rest of the accompanying MP team over the situation so yeah, there is that.

I'm one of the MP's who joined late in the round. Right before this happened we were busy trying to find a xeno that escaped from medbay, and during this time Crimson had given us what I believe to been a lawful order to arrest you from the Provist.

Crimson found you and began the arrest procedure, and this was before there was a confirmed hijacking. At the time we were trying to take you back to the brig, someone had already grabbed you to try and help you to escape. That's when the shuttle hijack message came out, and everyone went batshit and all of us MP's were attacked and beaten to death.

Personally, I don't see what we were supposed to do in this instance because

A. IC arrest order comes in from the Provost marshall.
B. CMP gets said order, and orders his marines to find the CO
C. CMP locates CO and makes the arrest

At that point, we have a RP IC Order for your arrest, and the CMP orders the arrest. If we disobey it, we're not playing our role number 1, number 2 we're defying an order and defying marine law which means we're subject to the server rules.

What made this a shit show was the second the message went around and the shuttle got hijacked, the MP's got lynched for really no reason when I think given a few more seconds, you could have been released since there was a oh shit situation at the time.

This is the second time I've been a victim while trying to follow the MP rules and play the game and get killed for it. (Like how you tied me to a chair last night when I was trying to do my job/follow the MP rules/orders etc...)

I don't think William did anything wrong per say because it all went to shit and it happened so fast when you were detained and we got the message of a shuttle hijack.

The initial Provost Order came from Mod+.

I didn't break any Laws by arguing with the CMP or even ordering an MP down to the planet. There's -zero- literature in Marine Law that states anything I did was breaking the law.

Secondly, you didn't read me why I was arrested until AFTER you cuffed me, I was awake seeing as I was fed an Oxy/Tram pill and a Spaceacillin pill.

Perhaps if you weren't valid hunting and making up reasons and using your position as a mentor to arrest your Commanding Officer (Disagreeing with the CMP on if they're responsible or not for groundside crew isn't a crime, again, false arrest) you wouldn't have been in a situation where you and all your MP's were lynched.

The point is that you're the CMP. You are literally untouchable IC. You break the law and abuse your position to soft-grief? The rules call for a job ban from CMP, not MP.

If I had BROKEN a law I wouldn't have made this report. I would've said "Damn, you got me."
