Giving a warning without a PM. -ChengChan

Post by ChengChan » 01 Oct 2018, 06:58

Your Byond Key: ChengChan

Your Character Name: Cheng 'Seiryuu' Chan

Their Byond key: None. He/She didn't send a PM.

Approximate time and date of the incident (Central Us Time for best results): GMT -8

Which Staff Protocols (http://www.colonial-marines.com/viewtop ... =57&t=5647) were broken: Protocol. 1. Send a personal message (PM) to the violator asking them to explain their actions.

Description of the incident: I do understand but the problem is, why giving me a warning without sending a personal message? Yeah I do accept the warning but the problem is why he/she didn't send a PM? That's what I want to find out. Please do investigate. I ask Mizari for my notes.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc):Image

How you would punish the accused: In this case, I think she/he don't deserve to be a staff from the community. How can a player learn to play if a staff won't PM a player who did a mistake? From my side, giving me a warning is fine but giving me a warning without a PM is an insult or rude. This staff has a metagrudge at me by the way. Very rude.

Edit: "Thinking that from a the LOOC They were just gonna abuse it in the future anyways" So I just realized we have a "God Staff" who can judge someone's life. :)

PS. I am not mad.

You were PMed about the incident.
Player PM from player/(Larva (247)) (?): It's totally realistic to challenge someone to do boxing for a mouse trap, in the middle of a alien occupation.

Okay I remember now. I was just shock for not giving me a warning in PM. I do understand but hopefully in the future it would be more better to tell a player that he/she has a warning so he/she can learn.

Edit: I apoligize for the situation but yeah I accept my warning but in my opinion, editing notes is fine but... but please PM the player so in the future he/she won't shock because of the notes that a Staff edited. I am busy at school and I almost forgot the notes and anything in RL that's why I ask any staffs to check my notes so I will improve more. Sorry.

I hope next time editing a notes should be PM to someone made a mistake.

Whenever you get PMed for breaking the rules (and you did indeed break the rules) a note will be added to your account.

You were, in fact, warned. "Thinking that from a the LOOC They were just gonna abuse it in the future anyways" refers to your actions, not the staff member's.

Resolved - No protocols broken, no action taken.
I used to play Luke Compton. Now I play Reginald Dempsey.
