Approximate time and date of the incident (Central US Time for fastest results): GMT -8

What rule(s) were broken: Rule 2. Roleplay.

Description of the incident:

1. Since my plan is to help and teach the XO on that round it was ruined by an Delta SL. While XO is doing a briefing, Caleb Messani was calling his marines in radio and trying to force them to join him inside the alamo/normandy. XO is talking in briefing and I pause it for awhile and I borrow the speaker and told the MPs to arrest the Delta SL for not following Command orders at briefing 12:20 sharp instead he is making fun and trying to meme the round. While MPs is chasing him he launch the Alamo in groundside but he wasn't inside and proceed to briefing and keep running like "the flash".. after the briefing he went to DS2.

2. After the briefing, the radio chat was totally in chaos because Caleb Messalani launched the DS2 again without our permission and Alamo was still at groundside in Ice Colony and I heard he was trying to grabbed the WO Ellie Weaver at Alamo or Normandy while ship is launching in a seconds.

3. Why is it a Rule 2? He is a SQUAD LEADER but Caleb just did a big mistake who ruined our round and alot of players did complain for launching the DS1 and DS2 without any permission and briefing isn't over yet.

4. Why did I BE'D Caleb? To tell you frankly most Commanders will BE him for stealing a DS1 and DS2 which is a 90% threat without permission and playing around or memeing, as a Commander my main priority is to have a successful operation and trying to promote peace on that round. Don't expect a Commander will just remain calm when two dropships had been dropped, ain't that stupid.. this is a roleplay game not an action game that you could do whatever you want. We have Marine Law and Rules in this server.

How you would punish the accused: Job-Ban for Squad leader.

PS: I am not mad. You ruined our round and making some fun or memeing especially you were a squad leader and didn't even follow Command orders and forcing your marines to go inside Alamo and Normandy when the briefing isn't over yet.

Alright, i am Caleb Messani.

First off i had no ideia about your "XO teaching" bit, i was not going to launch the alamo until one of my marines said "SL,you better launch the alamo, MP's are coming for you" (and they did) or something like that on the radio (Log digging), which i unironically panicked and launched it. The mp's you sent after ended up boarding the alamo, forcing me ditch it (about this part im really sorry for the marines inside of it).

I ended up having to use the Normandy to launch to the planet, so i wouldn't be arrest (and summarily executed/perma brigged, which both cases would take me out permanently from the round). Keep in mind, there was at least 20 marines inside the Normandy (considering that it was a low pop round, around 50% of the server).

I have nothing to say about the second point

Third, you literally ruined my round, just because i said something over comms (which does not mean im either going to do it, or i mean it), it does not excuse me for ruining peoples round, but such is the way of the game, many things can fall IC wise, i did not do this to shit on people's round, but rather acted like my IC character would do in that situation.

Fourth, i saw you were unironically mad at me, so i pratically let you do it. I was completely ok with it.


I didn't force anyone to do anything, the Marines followed me because they wanted to, some stayed also. i've seen Squad Leaders deploying earlier with their own free will quite often (and it all falled under IC issue).

If anything this falls under Rule 4. No griefing.

Since my First post was getting too big, a staff member PM'd me during this whole event, and he deemed it an IC issue. I can't remember his name though, and i forgot to take prints because i was actually trying to enjoy the round, but im pretty sure some one can find it through log digging of the round.

I don't know what other staff will think, its up to them.

As a Squad leader you must be more responsible what you were doing.


1. Since you are a Staff Sergeant and your role is to follow orders from Command and I've announced that briefing is 12:20 sharp, first why did you proceed to Alamo DS1? Because you are not comfortable with the XO or CO? This is a low roleplay style.

2. Launching the Normandy without any permission from Command again? 20 marines inside the Normandy isn't an excuse at all, if you are responsible you know what to do. There is an MP that could arrest and yet you launch the Normandy.

3. Whatever is your IC style always think about your rank. Staff Sergeant isn't easy role, if you make fun then I would suggest you go for PFC and do whatever you want just don't break the server rules. I highly valued the Staff Sergeant rank when i went CO.

4. I am not mad, I did my part as a Commander since you are a threat. My role is to give enjoyment from every players on that round and make that round successful.
