Approximate time and date of the incident (Central US Time for fastest results): Whiskey Outpost round from about 12:00 CT to 1:15 CT

What rule(s) were broken: Rule 4 (No griefing)

Description of the incident: In the Whiskey Outpost round today it was near the end of the round, and me and the CL were manning two MGs in the Cargo conveyerbelt line, holding the flank. Then Charlie SG Manley Dawkins told us to stand back since he was going to throw the grenade. In front of the MG which is a solid object, which would block the grenade. Which would be bad. After a good five seconds or so of myself and CL Marvin Pearsall telling him to not throw the grenade, he threw it anyway. Damaging the MG and the cades, with another grenade incident killing our MGs and cade line, we were later overrun and killed, opening the flank to the xenos, costing us the round. I didn't have time to aHelp the incident because I was slightly pre-occupied with the defense of the cargo area, and the round ended before I could submit the aHelp after I died. I've seen Manley as a player a few times so I'm pretty sure that he's not a new player, and I feel that he had to have known what would have happened, and I just have a feeling that his behavior was suspect.

How you would punish the accused: A stern warning if it is indeed his first offense, with a minor timed ban if he's been know for doing this sort of thing in the past. If my hunch was wrong and he is in fact a new player, then go ahead and close the player report and I'll let it be.

Bunker Crew Logistics dude here, I saw it. Not much else to say that the situation was quite hectic. Nade FF was frequent that round, and this situation is pretty much IC.

Edit: im the dude who has the slash animation fucked, handing BCs. There were other players fucking up nade placements, and that location would have succumbed in a few minutes time anyway.

Hmm, alright, I kind of see what you mean. I was just a little suspicious since there was a bit of time before him declaring he was going to throw a nade and the eventual toss, and us practically pleading with him to not throw the nade. What didn't help matters was him causing problems in the req line as CL in the very next round, but that's neither here nor there. Thanks for coming in and saying your piece on the matter.

The first grenade seems like an IC Issue however the 2nd grenade was by another marine standing behind you. Did you perchance get the name of the marine behind you as that is what caused you to lose the cades at the end there. The 2nd grenade was nowhere near xeno's and used in attempt to grief which is definitely frowned upon

I can explain that one. The Bravo PFC was Kyle Ramis, but I talked to him in Dchat and he explained that he misclicked with the first nade he fired, since there was a bit of lag going on (as tends to happen a little with late game Whiskey Outpost) and the second nade that was later fired by him he panicked and forgot he had UGL turned on. I haven't seen him around so I'm assuming he's a new player who made a mistake in that instance. I really wasn't able to tell him to not use nades due to the fact we were most likely deaf from the first UGL nade, so I'm not necessarily blaming him.

As for Manley, if it's indeed an IC issue and he's not known for causing problems prior to this, I'll accept the moderator's decision on the matter.

Hrm, alright, fair enough. Like I said, I wasn't sure if he did this sort of thing in the past and used RP to be able to do those sorts of things. I understand.

This all seems like one big IC issue, no offense. The most it did was damage the barricades, the second one was what did the actual damage and that wasn't even thrown by him.
