Allan1234
Your Byond Key:
Atpot
Your character name:
Zoey Blackfield
Their Byond key:
Allan1234
Approximate time and date of the incident (Central Us Time for best results):
3:15pm 08/11/2015
Which Admin Protocols (http://goo.gl/fBUQGG) were broken:
Section 2-3, section 3-2, section 3-5
Description of the incident:
I was conducting a normal round as a survivor, getting face hugged, stun locked, ect ect. The problem arose when I was getting stun locked and buckled into chairs. Under a Ahelp I was told I was going to be helped with the situation. Once action had taken place the situation was long and done with. The solution Allan1234 came up with is to spawn a sword in after I became nested, and verbally warn the server not to stun buckle. After this he made the suggestion to make a report about it. He showed no interest in pursuing the matter any more than this. I wished to put a player report via the forums, at which point names could not be determined when I asked Allan1234.
Swordhill on the other hand was able to resolve the problem within minutes of being handed the situation.
2-3, " You should ensure you do an adequate investigation into the incident before punishment."
I felt there was little to no effort put into identifying the culprits let alone punishing them when Allan was tending to the Ahelp/watching it happen.
3-2, Allan actually argued that I was being auto unbuckled when the logs clearly show that's untrue. Investigation was not conducted appropriately.
3-5, The determining punishment for meta/powergaming was handled poorly in my eyes. Let alone seemed slightly on the lazy side.

Re: Allan1234
OH NO NO NO NO NO I can tell you this is a misunderstanding. Allan told you to make a report he was referring to a player report. We were trying to figure out what was going on and we did find and punish the runners who spammed with buckling and all. No worries. This is a misunderstanding.

Re: Allan1234
This is no misunderstanding. I attempted to make a player report, as you can read in the logs.
The names were unable to be obtained, clearly stated by Allan1234 in the logs.
When Swordhill took over the case everything changed. Hence investigations were not held appropriately on Allan1234's end.
He even claims in the logs he "Watched" me getting buckled and yet did not act until the situation was far from over with.
I kind of felt like I was being brushed to the side by Allan, which is disrespecting. As well as arguing about something the logs clearly show is true. (Whether or not I was being auto-unbuckled)
Edit: I was not being auto-unbuckled if you read in the logs..

Re: Allan1234
No I believe Allan tossed it over to Swordhill, However the whole names issue is something he could have received super easily... I did not see that part of it. I will talk to Allan about this.

Re: Allan1234
I mean, it's one thing if he's on the ship or if he was RPing really well and it was a reward. But to just randomly give a sword?

Re: Allan1234
it was less of random, i didn't really think it was fair for the 4 aliens to be tackle spamming so i gave him a fairly weak sword that he could have used to escape since he was complaining that his round was ruined because of that.apophis775 wrote:I mean, it's one thing if he's on the ship or if he was RPing really well and it was a reward. Re: Allan1234
Interesting.. Apparently reporting meta/power gaming is complaining. Sorry for complaining about the rules being broken.
