Description of the incident: I am a spitter. This is the THIRD (3) time I have played alien on CM (to say that I am not very well versed in Xeno expectations that aren't rules.), A Marine inside the hive, well inside the hive jumps up from her nest and starts knifing me I attempt to knock her down and drag her to a next multiple times, this fails, Slashing is permitted, I knock her in the legs, unknown to me, this kills her immediately. I had no attempt to kill her immediately. I drag her back to the nest (very nearby, no wounds ripped open) and set her on the nest, and check her pulse. Dead as a door-nail (xeno rules, Section 1 part 5 permits slashing, and in weapon situations killing.). Fuck. Oh well, we're inside the hive, and I decap her corpse. (Explanation not to much further ahead.) and devour her. Later once I became a Praetorian, while i was watching over a blue guy, Ogard PM's me and asks why I decap'ed, I say because she was dead and we were in the hive, and I also ask if it is against the rules (I could't find it anywhere in the metagaming spot, or in the rules in general) he responds by removing(kick/boot, etc.) me from the round. When I say it was short and to the point, I mean it. He wasted no time trying to actually explain the rules at all, immediately removed me from the round, and also likely did not take time to gather information from other witnesses, of which there we're many, as we were dead center of the hive, with the queen a few praetorian and infected nested humans close by, with transparent resin between them and I. I would like to stress that I cannot find a rule about decaping anywhere, and the closest I can find is devouring corpses to prevent cloning, this only is against the rules OUTSIDE the hive, and I was most definitely inside a well established hive.
I think Ogard acted outside general procedures, was very unprofessional, and jumped the gun on the issue, resorting to removing me from the match because he didn't want to deal with the "issue". I will also mention that when I tried asking him over BYOND chat for more clarification, and to point out the rule, he did not respond, and not long after left the round.

I stress you take time to look into this, and react appropriately. As your only active staff at the time did not.
I'd also like the Notes taken from this to be made public.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): Please check the logs around the prescribed times. I was a spitter in conversation with OgardTheViking over staff PM.

How you would punish the accused: A stern warning about following correct procedure with minor, and or non-existent "issue".

I didn't remove or kick anyone lad, I just pm'ed you asking why you decap'd the dead body and the round ended, I didn't punish you nor do anything to you in the player panel as I just came on duty, people were saying stuff in the admin chat and we were getting ahelps about you so I acted.

Referring back to memory of today, the server was force restarted on a round due to overwhelming problems with lag and everyone was booted from the game, not just you. If you found yourself genuinely kicked from the server, that was because of it. If you were booted from your xenomorph without discussion of the subject and placed into observer, it's another matter.

I'd like to think that the former was the case, as I don't actually believe your decapitation acts were relevant to the round you attempted to ahelp about earlier on a fresh round. Regardless, someone will check it out, probably.

From what I can tell, there was no ban issued, and this was a result of the hard restart on the server. There's not even anything on your notes regarding the issue.

Ogard's not to blame on this, just server lag. Closing this report.
