Description of the incident: He drugged me and another survivor, interrogating us before dragging us into maint and torturing us to death.

Persh Aggley continues boring deeper and deeper, his clothes mixing with fragments of skull and flesh. Flecks of brain trickle into the maintenance tunnel.
Persh Aggley shudders as the drill stops, jamming with the mass of flesh. He leaves it as is, groaning.
Persh Aggley (follow) asks, "So many wasted /opportunities/. And for what? Snark?"
Persh Aggley huffs, before looking down at his clothing.
Persh Aggley sighs to himself, giving the mangled body a last cold look. He turns and waddles on his cane.
Persh Aggley lifts the labcoat form his body, allowing it to crumple to the floor. His left hand snatches the spray cleaner, dousing himself in the aerosol.
Persh Aggley sprays a little more beneath his neck, cleaning out a layer of grime. And just like that...
Persh Aggley grins, planting the labcoat on his back once more.



How you would punish the accused: Job bans from all Sulaco-based/heavy RP jobs. If he wants combat, let him have it on the ground.

Your character was a survivor, which is an Antagonist role. Technically, those roles are out of the boundaries covered for most griefing rules in the marine-to-survivor relationship context, as long as it is done in a RP setting. The way this situation was explained to me, Persh Aggley had gone through the proper channels before doing this to you. He ahelped it, and Sham gave him the green light. That, and given your antag role, I don't believe any real rules were broken here.

Alright, thank you all for your time. I was just curious since the RP situation is a search and rescue and it didn't really make much sense to me for survivors to be valid unless they shoot first.

This situation is still under investigation. We have spoken about this in staff chat and and mostly agree that sham was in the wrong to give permission. Logs show that sham, a mentor who was not allowed to give permission for something like this, gave the researcher permission to kill and torture the survivors for a horrible reason.

The RP reason for this was not valid moreover to our knowledge sham himself does not have the authority to give permission for a player to kill another player.

After investigation I have determined that even thought the murders where not Ahelped the experimentation (torture) was. Halinder went thought the proper channels and gained proper permission from both staff and IC as well as had IC intentions for it. The survivors where acting both erratic and threatening to the crew and as such where considered a threat because of it.

The entire situation was roleplayed greatly by halinder and as such I would say that the situation was done properly and within the rules.
