Description of the incident: Squad marines stole a crate containing -all- plasteel, glass, metal and other resources engineering had, so i decided to remove 50% of the chairs from the dropship as compensation, i ghosted shortly after being arrested by security, due to the fact that i didn't feel like dealing with the entire situation, and i had other things to do, i haven't recieved a single a-help, or question from CoronelJones regarding the entire situation, and i fail to see which rules where broken here.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): The server logs should be more than enough.

How you would punish the accused: User should lose administrative privileges for 24 hours.

I was active, and online when this ban was applied, additionally being a 'shitlord' does not warrant placing bans without any interaction, i fail to see why my actions would be bannable, especially when several squad marines looted the -entirety- of the engineering supplies, we had no plasteel, metal, glass, or even inflatable walls when i took a few of their chairs.

I have never received any warning nor word that ghosting after being arrested is bannable, sure it's frowned upon but why would i stay IC when i'm about to be shot, mauled, and killed by marines who are utterly salty and mad that a MT removed a few chairs from their shuttle to take some metal after their team mates removed -all- our metal?

Additionally, why are marines even allowed to -steal- all of the engineering supplies without receiving any ban, note or warning from (a/the) administrators? They literally took -all- resources without word or interaction

Just looking at this from a glance, this was a wrong thing of you to do. Because a single marine stole your crate, you went ahead and removed all the chairs on the dropship to "get back"?
Having no chairs on the dropship is frustrating at best. Multiply that by 30~50, and you have a lot if misery.

Lets go through the protocols:

2.1: Jones never insulted you or resorted to being unprofessional. He didn't get angry, he didn't insult you, and he didn't lose his composure. You didn't even speak to him, so this clearly doesn't apply.

3.1: You disconnected from the server. How were you expecting him to contact you? In cases where players cause damage and leave, it is perfectly acceptable to issue punishment without contacting the perpetrator. Otherwise, we'd have no way of punishing those people who grief and disconnect.

3.2: I can't really speak on Jone's behalf here, but it seems clear to me he investigated the situation to such a degree he found you guilty of causing issues. You were the one who griefed the shuttle intentionally, and you openly admit to it.

3.3:According to your previous notes (of which you have 8 from the past two weeks), a job ban does not seem excessive to me. Especially considering (according to our notes), you were warned for disassembling the chairs on the shuttle from a another staff member on the 25th. These notes are timestamped.


I hope you can understand that what you did was wrong. And I hope you can understand that you need to improve your behavior. You've have received a lot of concerning notes issued in such a short time.

I had SS13 open on another screen, and i wasn't paying attention to dchat, i haven't seen a single ahelp, which would have notified me so i could switch my attention there.

Power was never removed to the sulaco, i was just lightly salty because engineering was left without supplies, we literally had -zero- steel, plasteel, glass and even our inflatable walls where taken away, i understand that my behavior might be a little edgy there, and i'm not saying that i shouldn't be banned, but i still feel that the banning administrator should have sent me a PM allowing me to explain my side of the story.

I had seen your reason,plus you removing the chairs personally,even MPs went out to arrest you,you could have taken the chairs from briefing or even gotten CARGO to order some,instead you fully disabled the dropship by removing the chairs,wich marines cant rebuild back,you were warned about it before too.

I had all the evidence needed,so the investigation was done,that along with the previous warning,wich it appears you did not heed,resulted in the instataneous resolution,i wasnt even going to ban you or anything BEFORE i was told of you doing the same thing before

Because what youre doing isnt roleplaying. You would never steal/destroy USCM property. The proper way to follow through would be reporting the incident to the MPs or command staff.

Where a medium RP server, you have to think how to solve these issues IC wise that dont ruin/destroy other peoples gameplay.

If you were that upset you should of also Ahelped it and reported the issue.
You failed to do a couple of logical things;

1. Report the issue to a Admin/Mod.
2. Roleplay the situation.
3. Speak to cargo about ordering more.

Instead you took matters into your own hands and broke server rules. This seems to be a ongoing issue with you where you believe that youre entitled to wrong other people just because youve been wronged.

Two wrongs don't make a right and this isnt the first time youve been spoken to because of this mentality.
