Description of the incident:
I got suited up, etc. I traded my machete with a specialist for a riot shield, which I then worn to the drop ship. The XO was suited up in armor and was hitting people on the dropship, and apparently discharged his gun a few times, so I disarmed him and began dragging him off the drop ship. He was also struggling against a few other people too. John Hayter, alpha SL, then ran in from the direction of the pod, pushed me down, took my riot shield, and ran back to the pod, locking the doors behind him. I have no idea why. I unlocked the doors and followed him to the pod, asking him why he did it. He then opened the pod doors after the shuttle took off and threw out the riot shield, talking about a treasure hunt.

Hank pushed me down for no reason that I could tell. I proceeded to punch Hayter, aiming at the body, a few times to escalate the situation, and he responded by slashing me with a machete. I think everyone in the pod got up and began punching/disarming me. The shuttle landed, and I attempted to disarm the other people who were blocking the way so I could leave and not be killed. I may have punched them, but I was mainly aiming for Hayter. At no point did I draw a weapon or try to actually kill anyone. The group chased me around the pod landing while hitting me, and I was just trying to get away alive at that point. I was already seriously wounded from the punches/machete, so I was really slow. Winry Rygart was hitting me with a wrench. Alpha then cornered me so I couldn't run away and continued to punch/push me down. I was already in crit from the pain/damage. Right before I died, I pulled out my shotgun on Hayter, who was right next to me, to hopefully create an opening in the mob, and fired once. The choice of target wasn't intentional, I fired pretty much randomly. I tried to fire again moving through the opening, and I don't think I hit anything. I then died.

I don't normally make reports over stuff like this, and I wanted to escalate the situation, but this wasn't cool. Hayter was a dick for literally no reason, and I was in a totally different squad. I contacted Jones and was told this was an IC issue. There was no IC reason or interaction to take the riot shield in the first place, since I didn't even encounter Hayter until he took the riot shield, or to immediately slash me up with a machete. Or for alpha to mob me and prevent me from even leaving the shuttle while beating me to death.

From the logs and what i gathered i considered it an IC Fight

The Squad lead(Hayter) WAS warned for using the machete after he was punched a few times,concerning escalation,but log wise it seems that he was disarmed,and then punched after a few disarms by the rest of alpha,after he punched their squad leader multiple times,he then returned disarms on two of the marines,and from what i was told,chased,and kept getting punched and hit with a wrench,he later delivered a shot from his shotgun on one of them,to wich they unloaded on him

I did not adress the riot shield,for theft is an IC Crime,and should be handled by the MPs,unless its important equipment,taken for no reason(He might have wanted the riot shield for usage) or an ID,it isnt really adminhelp worthy.

Well, you probably shouldn't be trading equipment with specialists...

This has been resolved and Felix is on his last limb now. I have had to go log diving for it personally.
