Description of the incident: I was patrolling the ship going aft as the Commander that round and saw Casca building barricades. Any retreat from cafeteria and beyond would have been cut off due to the barricades so I accidentally nudged Casca. The nudge forced the plasteel against the wall and Casca was irritated. Insults were hurled and I was just instantly shot in the chest and hard-critted by her shotgun. I would have died if medical staff were not on the bridge.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): Releasing has a screenshot, I don't.

How you would punish the accused: I honestly don't know. A stern talking to or a note maybe?

You do realize that was an Accidental Fire right? I went to repull up the Sheets for Plasteel in hopes that I could replace a new Plasteel sheet and instead accidently shot you while I was typing. I still don't feel bad though as to quote Apop. "People who push others we can all agree are assholes." because of the plasteel being pushed in a different direction I was unable to secure the doorway before the retreat from the killbox and I cant even deconstruct it to re-use the barricade.

I apologize that you accidently got shot, but please use your mouth in the future to ask for /anyone/ to move.

To add to this, next time, just ask in LOOC if its on purpose or not, or just /ahelp/ the Staff so they can clear it up. Theres a button right there for you to use.

I work off of macro's and Hotkeys to quicken my reflex's and ingame reaction time. Shit happens some times, as someone who has nothing to gain from shooting someone who has a Smartgun who she needs there to protect her own butt while Xeno's are baring down on her, I wouldn't ever intentionally shoot you. You could have easily asked about it in LOOC and I could have explained it was an Accident.

Afterall if I /really/ wanted to hurt you, I would have kept shooting more then once, not just fire once. Hell, I accidently shoot people once or twice because I was swinging at weeds and then the person would walk infront of me, then I have to waste my medicine to fix them up. In this case I didn't treat you because I didn't have any medicine, and I was needed to patch up the door to hold off the enemies while Terrel and Bill, and the PMC counted on me to build.

Exactly, it happens so much too. Like the marines that walk infront of you while you are swinging at weeds as one example. Or people who stand infront of your sniper LOF.

It was in conflict hun, we had a Ravager/Praetorian/Boiler/Carrier/Sentinel all in the room next to us fighting others. Add to that the West was entirely exposed with no protection between the Main Ladders and us, which is why we're fighting back when the entire Sulaco is under siege. So when the Sulaco is under siege, thats conflict. Being on the ground fighting? Thats conflict. And I can tell you now, with how close we could see Ravagers even with my welding goggles which were down, I could see the ravagers and runners running back and forth at Bill and Terrel.

So this is what I could piece together. There's not much I can tell as to whether or not Gel's shot was intentional or not. Probably wasn't, considering she's not exactly toxic, but even then if this was handled in-game as it should've been, you might've been noted for it.

Since this is just a passive report to begin with, I'll leave it with this: Azmodan, if you're in the same sort of ballpark of pushing people, better to use your words first. It could lead to you getting accidentally or intentionally shot by Gelonvia. Gel, work on your macros or your trigger finger, because if that had gotten roleplayed out properly you would've been shot dead for slugging your CO into hard-crit. And if the active staff actually were paying attention you would've gotten a harsher punishment.
