Description of the incident: During a hive assault, we were attacking and suddenly I fell unconscious. I was wearing B18 and the helmet was still on so no facehuggers and I wasn't melee attacked in the head that I know of. Warnipple was the only staff online at the time.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): nil. I ragequit.

This was during low pop, aliens had about 5 members while marines had a group of 10-12 near robotics.

A boiler and a runner run down to Robotics not knowing it wasn't safe and encounter those marines. Marines open fire on them both and aliens retreat. For some reason marines pursue them past north of the river so I deliver the first warning of sleeping gas mines via MOTHER announcement that will be activated in 10 seconds as to protect aliens from a meta rush.

Marines retreat, thats cool. I didn't have to sleep anyone.

About 3-5 minutes afterwards I see the marines have pushed back up north of the river. I deliver a second MOTHER announcement about sleeping mines and I sleep 3 out of about 10 marines there. Hoping that their buddies would drag them back. They don't. You, inevitably, get captured. The only one captured I should add.

First off: My apologies for choosing you to sleep. I didn't target you because you had B18 on. I simply chose people at random to target.

Aliens only had about 5 or 6 at the time. One of them being an AFK queen and a useless boiler. I think the only two fighting was a young rav and a young sentinel. Not very good odds against 10 marines and the hive was still being built.

To be fair: I delivered 2 warnings via MOTHER announcements that there were sleeping mines across the river. You and your squad mates chose to ignore that warning.

I chose to take measures to prevent another game being ended early due to a marine rush. It happened in the previous round if you were there for that.

I was the only one captured because you put me to sleep in front of two t1s, a rav, and the queen...

And I didn't see a mother report, nor hear a command report announcement.

An explanation at the time would have been nice. Even pming me to fuck off from the hive would be nice.

I'm really not the type to get upset at people and everyone knows I love a good shitfest but abuse gets under my skin like nothing else. I stand with my original post and the consequences it brings.

I'll admit that I only gave about 5 seconds warning during the second one but a lot of your comrades were calling for a retreat yet still a bunch of you decided to push onwards.

I got neither of those reports and the radio was drowned out by combat logs. I'm willing to withdraw my orginal post if someone fixes the bug.

Edit: I do play with my volume up pretty high and always hear a command report announcement. I didn't hear it either time so I assume it's a bug. I'd also like to apologize to Warnipple for the mistaken salt.

The issue is that he clearly tried to stop the meta-rush using IC means. We've been having a lot of meta-rushing lately so its understandable.

But there comes a point where you need to turn your IC warnings into Admon warnings. Instead of sleeping you, you should of simply been messaged at that point.

I believe warnipple had the best intentions for the round.

Lowpop round. Early morning. It was about 40ish minutes in and a boiler and hunter lead me and some other marines to the outside of their hive at the mine.

I was immediately present for this. Warnipple threatened to combat-sleep marines, there were about 3-4, and pursuing a boiler/other alien combo. There was a previous warning about crossing the river, whereupon we pulled back and were attacked again by aliens, who then themselves retreated across the river.
The fighting had not passed much further then the mining pod on the NW side of the riverbank. I dont believe the marines had entered the main hive, as I was standing at the mining pod and the rest of the marines were just outside my field of view.
