I guess every single one? He didn't bother questionning or anything, he goes straight into the issue and starts threatening. Also, abuse of power.

Description of the incident:

Firstly, this day started out with him stacking 2x huggers as a hunter in the pod per tile in the pod as soon as we arrived and left, he kept running back and forth doing so until I came and started shooting, only to be caught by the huggers inside the pod. I sent an ahelp saying that this was a terrible, blatant metagame and then I get a response from Warnipple, claiming he's been doing it, laughing over ahelps and calling me a hypocrite and sort. Then Maurovega jumps in and defends him, claiming that hugger stacking is basically 3x huggers on a tile and he didn't break a rule because, again, "you gotta have 3x huggers in one tile each lol", when he was blatantly bringing these huggers onto the pod. I get mad, Freemysoul talks to me, okay, I start playing xeno, calm down.

Then, going forward few rounds, he returns again, threatening people who were cornershooting to be banned because Apop and Feweh made a rule not to, which again, he was probably playing as a xeno to give himself a ticket out of trouble, which happened a couple of days ago when I killed a crusher with an alien mine, he was playing as empress that time and IMMEDIATELY aghosted to check what happened, runs off to metagame and do his little screech, capture and hug, then starts PMing me trying to get me in trouble for killing his fucking crusher and because I took B18 armour off a specialist that was SSD for GOOD HOUR AND A HALF. (this was probably two days ago, I'm not sure, can't remember, maybe the ahelp log will help, he was literally playing empress that time and decided to do that shit.)

I've been also speaking to several players and I was told he was making CL antag objectives and MOTHER announcements just to save himself and sort, not sure if this is true but I'd like that it'd be investigated, this is clear power abuse.

Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc):

- The round where he was an empress, decided to aghost to check why the crusher died and then run, screech and capture me, then aghost again and start PMing shit.

- Apparently it's a bug and an exploit, when referred to rules, he's silenced, can't find a reason to ban someone. Also, way few months back, I remember Apophis saying himself it was intentional to cornershoot?..

- What? Where are you making this up? How long have you been in CM, Warnipple?

I've also asked Freemysoul to get me some logs if he ever could, but got no replies during this current round I am/was on, I think anyone looking at our PM's could see what he's going for.

How you would punish the accused:

I don't want a simple slap on a wrist to this person, he needs to be removed, he isn't resolving anything as a moderator.

Cornershooting IS an exploit. Xur got warned for it last month. And Apop has made it clear it can't be fixed because of the way SS13 works

Xur got warned for it from another staff member. I clearly remember Apop stating it was intentional a long time ago, and everyone was using it since.

No punishment was a result of this. The crusher that died was very upset that he died in such a manner and I investigated to explain the situation to him. I sympathized with the crusher and was slightly annoyed that you would power game in such a manner.

Thats rather rude that you're assuming I did something without any proof. I was able to view the logs of the crusher while he was still in his body. The alien mine was still on his body and the last prints were yours.

It's funny because the round occured fast I couldn't GET any evidence when I got captured and rolled as xeno, hence I'm ASKING if you could get any logs from THAT and THAT time. Also, I asked Free to GET me logs of me and Warnipple's PMs, because again, THE round kept going I couldn't SCREENSHOT any, but they're SAVED in THAT and THAT time.

90% of this entire post is hearsay.
The other 10 percent was Warnipple telling you not to powergame. Seems pretty open and shut here.

It's basically hearsay when a trialmod decides to do shady shit and you can't ask other staff members to look at it, as well as when he's your buddy. Just perfect logic right there my man.

There is little evidence for the first paragraph, and the only real evidence is the pms, also nicking spec gear isnt a rule, but marines wont see you as a hero if you are wearing their gear.

Freemysoul witnessed half of it, he saw huggers on pod, I couldn't take any screenshots because captured+rolled as xeno.

There were two huggers already in the ship stacked, and another where the player was caught. You kept going back and forth to the pod.

First off, I never enforce corner shooting... At this point it's basically a feature until it's fixed.
However, Ordukai and a few others will enforce it. It's basically not KOSHER and if a staff member says don't do it... don't do it.

Warnipple won't be punished for this as he technically was rightfully enforcing a bug abuse and other admins have said it's against the rules.

I need further information regarding these Self-Mother reports and any further issues before I dive into this.
The problem with your complaint is that it' seems to be an over-all complaint expanding a few days... I need exact proof and evidence otherwise it's a wild goose chase.

I have never given CL antag objectives without permission. I have never made MOTHER announcements to save myself. In fact for the past week or so, I've rarely been interacting with the CL because I've been told not to.

Please ensure that your accusations have evidence.

In fact Tekno, you yourself send AHELPS anytime someone loots your weapons, gear and especially specialist equipment. I myself and other Admins will message you for stealing gear, especially Specialist gear from dead bodies.

My stuff is always looted almost every round I die, it's fine, though most of these ahelps come when my entire gear is just looted whilst cloning(I don't think you remember the researcher incident, destructive analyzing my stuff). I give specialists REALLY long time until I take their stuff and use it if they're SSD. Though I guess most ahelps come from taking their belts and sort, for ammunition.

On my way out, the only way mind you, I run into you. I retreat back into the pod and drop my huggers on the southern (west) chairs while the other hugger remained on the right chair. You start shooting me like crazy so I bait you to move down, to which you do and the three huggers take out your helmet and infect you. In the ahelps, I found it amusing that you would ahelp about metagaming when you are a known metagamer.

Funny, because I killed that hugger that was IN that chair where the SSD guy was, and there were TWO more in the other chair, when you threw your huggers, everything broke and I ran for it, bam, more huggers caught me. It was amazing when you stopped running back after catching me, was something wrong?

First off, I don't intend to create tension or drama for anyone and I just want to help clarify and resolve any misunderstandings or conflict. So i'm gonna provide an impartial account of my side of the story.

I was playing as that crusher. I was surprised when I got stunned when I was moving forward, and I died as a result of said stun under heavy marine fire. Shortly after, I realized that I stepped on an Alien Mine. I ghosted after death and realized that it wasn't even a predator round. I also noticed that the sandstone temple just south of my body had predator items in it.

So the first thing that came to my mind was "Can Marines use predator mines? Cause I kinda died to it...". So I ahelped and asked for clarification, since I had taken a few months hiatus from CM, and wasn't fully sure of the recent rulings. Warnipple replied to my ahelp and asked me something along the lines of "Do you know where the alien mine was?" So I replied that it was probably stuck onto my dead body. That was probably the time when he aghosted to check out the situation. Was I sad that I died to that? Yeah, but I honestly didn't care who did it and just wanted to know if from a gameplay standpoint this is allowed or is going to be a problem for abuse.

I replied to Warnipple along the lines of "I don't really need any action taken or anything, but maybe ask the staff if they should be removed from the map, cause I noticed that they added predator items inside the sandstone temple. But if Apop or whoever wanted them added in, they might have their own reasons for doing so." I assume that Warnipple tried to consult Freemysoul, but he said that he was AFK at the time, and he gave me his opinion that it felt like metagaming.

Afterwards I went AFK, so I was not aware of anything else happening in the round. I noticed later that Warnipple did what I requested while I was busy and posted this for discussion > viewtopic.php?f=59&t=8308. So I was satisfied and my problem was hence resolved.

Alright After doing my own digging into this. Warnipple never used meta knowledge to find you, As the last time he had aghosted was ~10 minutes prior to actually running into you. unless you stood for 10 minutes in that exact spot where the crusher died. He couldnt have had any knowledge of where you were via admin verbs.

Corner shooting isnt really a cool thing but apparently its a feature until further notice.

However, Stealing Spec gear is against the rules, no matter how long they have been ssd. If they are ssd send em back to the sully to be striped of their gear and the gear put in hold somewhere secure and then have them cryoed so another spec can arrive in game and take the gear


thirdly. I have looked into the so called Mother, and CL fax abuse, And i at this moment can not make a ruling on it. I will be looking into it further over the next few days. Do forgive me for taking so long as there was alot of log diving and i was looking for all info at the same time.

So As it stands right now. No action will be Taken against warnipple unless evidence of abuse is found.
