1) You just made 2 threads in a row about the round that's still going. Stop being salty, RO.
2) CO murdered Borislav and ordered all squads to switch to alpha. 50+ players, mind it.
3) We had 10+ marines and gave CO 12 minutes to stand down, he used em to issue shoot-to-kill order to MPs. We arrested the only MP and released delta spec from jail.
4) BO Vale was on our side.
5) CO ended up firing lethals at unarmed marines, almost killed a poor girl from alpha. We took him down using only stunbatons, even though we was aiming to kill us all.
6) Command chain was re-established with Officer Vale as acting commander.
> CO's name was Benjamin 'Commissar' Werry <

That still doesn't solve the problem of the broken rule. Two threads for two different complaints.Neray wrote:1) You just made 2 threads in a row about the round that's still going. Stop being salty, RO.

Yeah the MP was shit trying to arrest me for no reason. So I would have agreed to lynching the CO.

Re: Victor "Orbital" Kaipov report
So.
I got online. I see everything is going to hell. I hear some counts of the marine's commander shooting people, the SM blowing up, the RO getting mobbed for trying to make people do paperwork, some other banter...
I see that Victor and his entire squad pulled a basically non-lethal mutiny, swarming MP's with disarms to get their batons, then usurping a 'commisar'.
I messaged him, asking why he mutinied, and he told me about the shootings, the commanders quite awful game plan...
So, I had him give me 5+ names of people who supported the mutiny. He did, and I messaged those people, and they agreed that they supported.
I decided to let it go on as it was after this, because the round actually turned around to the marines ACTUALLY having a chance on the ground after the mutiny took place, and Victor seemed to rally the marines. I also decided that since no staff were online at the time that the mutiny was needed to be done, that since I was able to get an EASY 5+ people who agreed to it, that I would call it to be authorized.
I'm pretty sure I'd call it resolved.

But this is still against the rules, whether you were online or not a mutiny had already started without approval before-hand.Infant Punter wrote:So.

You need approval from the start, not once you've already started. If no staff are online, you cannot mutiny.
This is to avoid EVERY round turning into a mutiny. Something which happened almost every other round pre-alpha at one point.

Re: Victor "Orbital" Kaipov report
I know that fully, though after seeing an overwhelming amount of marines whom thought the commander needed to be gone for the good of the round and it's progression as a whole (which was true, as it kicked off with the marines actually deploying and starting a FoB after it concluded), I used my best judgement to decide that it was for the betterment of everyone that it was left as it was.Feweh wrote: snip

Ill take this into consideration and decided on the consequences in a few hours.

Re: Victor "Orbital" Kaipov report
Feweh, CO shot marine to death at round start and ordered to halt mission until all marines changed their IDs to alpha. More though, when asked to stand down peacefully by 10+ players he ordered MPs to shoot all mutineers and blocked the bridge. SM explosion, by the way, was on hands of MP officer Jim, who arrested CE (for arguing with CO about RO line incident) when he was busy working on engine.
Since there were no staff to deal with that warhammer-style commissar and his retarded dogs, we had to deal with them ourselves. Mind, that the only one firing lethals during mutiny was CO himself, and we had a bridge officer on our side, who later took over command.
It was the most organized mutiny I've seen this year.

Re: Victor "Orbital" Kaipov report
I was the CE.
I cannot fathom a more reasonable justification for mutiny. Trouble in the RO line where the RO started shooting people, the CO arrived and made it worse, and then he executed a CT. He then gave MP's orders to shoot all marines who went near bridge, something I (and the BO who ultimately took command) was very vocal in my opposition to. There were a plethora of other poor command decisions made by him, but as I didnt log the round, i dont have them all immediately available.

Re: Victor "Orbital" Kaipov report
I don't know, I just thought what I did was right, I managed to rally marines and even get them not to fire back with lethals so we won't cause more chaos and destruction in Sulaco itself so we could start with our mission anyways, but I never knew the MP's arrested the CE, is that why the SM blew up?
The CO broke several rules and that was the time I thought we needed a new commander, because we would only get a terrible round because of all of this. We had a BO on our side, even. Everything began when RO started aiming her pistol and shooting at the CT because he punched her for paperwork, he had to resort with lethals back because her other buddy CT was supporting her. CO comes in, and shit hits the fan, he kills the troublemaker without even really getting additional MP support and throws him straight into disposals bin. Then after being called out, someone actually comes and clones him, otherwise the CO would've just kept him in there if it wasn't for that.
Now, in briefing, 50+ players, the CO orders to assign everyone into Alpha or be held in brig, like what? There were several more SL's and he decided to "fuck it all, let's go alpha lads", like no. I asked for a LOT of people to support me through this as peacefully as possible without resulting deaths, and nobody died. The CO opened fire on non-lethals, which would be breaking the entire "killing another marine" rule when we got in. We were waiting patiently for him to step up for a good amount of time.
It just feels like we need CO and XO roles to be whitelisted with a given timer to unlock it, BO's too, this sort of shit keeps occuring a lot of rounds, either command staff go SSD, or fuck about in their liking.
edit:: wording.
